Samulnor.E is a word play of ‘samulnori’ and Electro. Samulnori is a traditional percussive genre from Korea made with gongs and drums.
This EP was inspired by the sounds of ‘garak’ and ‘samulnori’ from the 70’s and 80’s and focuses primarily on integrating dance culture into these sounds. 
It’s a 4 track EP by DJ co.kr and it includes Samulnor.E, TOM (feat. MoonSun), TOM (version) and TOM (feat. MoonSun) [STONES TARO REMIX].

Stones Taro is a DJ and Producer from Kyoto, Japan and the head of NC4K.
MoonSun is a singer from Seoul, Korea.

Our good friend @hexset has crafted something super beautiful. A sci-fi inspired, deep, melodic 2-stepper that carries a mystical feel from start to finish.

This one is a perfect set opener or transition tune into the techy side of things. The DELICATE, spacey harps paired up with the intergalactic synth that bounces around - perfect stuff 

Hexxem is a name to follow and watch out for. Born and raised in Dublin, now living in Berlin, yer man’s musical knowledge goes DEEP and the rate his production is elevating is mad impressive. Like a lot of us, he grew up shaped by Channel U and MTV Base, favouring grime and garage. The U.K. flavour and raw energy those channels pushed at the time really seeps through into his productions. We can’t wait to hear more 💥

軀殼 VESSEL is a reflection of 祐曦YAU HEI’s rhythm of everyday life, it is born from the weight of repetition - the endless cycle of routine. It awakens her needs to create, to remind herself the fragile beauty of imagination. The slow erosion of time, the unrelenting truth of death’s cycle, is the weight 祐曦YAU HEI write against.

Sonically, the album blends atmospheric textures, tense synths and experimental layers with heavy bass and emotionally charged vocals. Like moving through routined life in constant motion, the grind pushing forward, shadows of time pressing heavier with every step.

Each track builds into a journey: The first half builds with urgency and tension, while the second half unfolds into melody and space. The movement reflects the cycle — from the weight of routine into a fleeting light of release.

祐曦 Yau Hei is a UK Bristol-based, Hong Kong producer and DJ whose music embodies a profound exploration of the mind and spirit. ASJ, short for "A Spiritual Journey," reflects her ideas to bridge the physical and metaphysical, crafting immersive soundscapes that transform emotions and perceptions.

Through her music and DJ sets, 祐曦 Yau Hei delivers a distinctive blend of Eastern and Western influences, engaging audiences with nostalgic hooks, cinematic layers, and electrifying beats. ‘Free’ is full of ﬂavour - with a spicy 2-step groove underpinning jazzy keys and a soulful diva vocal. Chopped instrumentation and a bubbling bassline add the essential seasoning for a properly tasty UKG bubbler.

‘Ninety Five’ takes it’s title seriously, with a studious throwback to the golden age of emerging US & UK Garage. Rolling 4x4 provides the framework for descending chords and sparkling horns, stretched across a bumpy 2-step rhythm.

Finally label mate Limita steps up to twist the lead track into a high-tempo bassline assault with just the right amount of funk to ﬁll any discerning danceﬂoor.
