Who would have thought that we'd ever hear people who aren't Samoan screaming out "cheehoo" and singing these sacred songs to perfection! Performing a traditional Samoan arrangement, including hymns, titled Mauga Ole Atu Olo by Ieti MJ Leu'u. Chororlation, a combined choir of Westlake Girls and Westlake Boys High School won the top prize at the New Zealand Choral Federation (NZCF) Choir Festival. 

Recorded last month at the Dunedin Town Hall by the festival organisers, The Big Sing is the Secondary Schools choir festival for the country. It saw 252 choirs from 150 schools from throughout New Zealand compete for the Platinum Prize. Choral Conductor is Rowan Johnston with Morag Atchinson on percussion. Their video webcast was sponsored by New Zealand on Air and Radio New Zealand Concert.
