The 13th of Aug. is the 1yr anniversary to the song i produced Planet Apes with Sean, originally we were gonna do a 3 part series on the song with the 2nd being Beneath the Planet Apes but Sean past . I feel into depress mode, Oc was working in my studio on some features at that time and basically lifted my spirits , I played him the track to Beneath and he  went in on the track. Active for over 20 years, Dj Iron started dj'ing at the young age of 15 back in 1997. After releasing a series of underground mixtapes throughout the late 90's and early 2000's , he eventually caught the ears of legendary Belgian Dj Grazzhoppa , who recruited him to be a part of his Turntablist crew 'Dj Grazzhoppa's Bigband' in 2004, touring worldwide for over a decade.

Besides regular Dj gigs and sharing stages with legends like Dj Premier, Mf Doom, Tony Touch, Bobbito, Cymande and Dj Spinna to name a few.. He also worked in the studio producing records/recording scratches for El da Sensei (Artifacts), L’Orange,  John Robinson, Sadat X, Tek (Smiff-N-Wesson), El Gant, Tableek (Maspyke) and many others

In 2016 Dj Iron released the acclaimed collaborative album 'Phaseology' with Mindsone , on Ill Adrenaline records (US).
