Legendary DJ, producer, promoter, and label owner YOUSEF marks 30 years impacting the electronic music scene with his fifth and final album, "I OPERATE IN PURPLE," self-released this September on Circus Recordings. 
 
Following his deeply cathartic and moving previous album, 9 Moor Drive, Yousef delivers I Operate in Purple - a timely, joyful, uplifting, and emotionally resonant body of work. True to his three-decade-long career immersed in house music culture, his music remains as personal as it is ambitious. 
I Operate in Purple weaves together inspirations drawn from hundreds of visited cities, thousands of parties, and countless life moments, that have helped shape his vibrant journey. Yousef's album purposely features original songs, live vocals, and collaborations with world-class musicians, all of which help Yousef celebrate both his personal evolution and the future of his colourful house music, squarely and ambitiously aiming I Operate in Purple to be considered as important as the classic dance music albums he was so inspired by in the late 90's. Each of the 14 tracks comes with its own 3D story, expertly brought to life by Vulture - Indonesia's finest visuals team. I O P is a powerful culmination of three decades of artistry, innovation, and passion, this album is a fitting tribute to the legacy in the scene. It’s a compelling reflection of where he and the genre have been—and where they’re headed. 
 
 
The third single to drop from I O P is Higher Place, once again a collaboration with Brighton trio ‘Kuuda’. Higher Place is an anthemic and joyful original singalong that’s carried by on a powerful disco infused house juggernaut. A certain nameless electronic music star loved the track so much he made his own version for Yousef as a gift!  This has summer festivals written all over it. Simply huge!
