Hailing from Belgium, a country with a rich legacy in electronic music, Tumzz grew up immersed in a culture that celebrated the genre. Il était une fois Laurent Baert…

Dès ses 16 ans Laurent a commencé à se produire du côté de Tournai dans le célèbre « Stefen’s Café » appartenant à son papa (Stéphane Baert) dans des soirées 100% généraliste! 

Quelques années plus tard, Laurent décide de voler de ses propres ailes mais surtout de jouer des sons qu’il aime vraiment! (Électro, Tech House, Deep-House,…)

Il atterrira rapidement comme résident à « l’Escape Concept » et ensuite au prestigieux « H2o Club »! Certainement la consécration de sa carrière! En étant résident dans ce club de très grande renommée, beaucoup de portes s’ouvriront à lui! 
Les Apéros Chics à Mons, Louise Gallery à Bruxelles, le Captain, L’Impact à Asquillies, le Pulse à Tournai, pas mal de festivals et chapiteaux pouvant atteindre 10.000 personnes et de nombreux autres endroits encore…

Il mixera aux côtés de dj’s de renoms comme John Dahlback, Gregor Salto, Joachim Garraud, Quentin Mosimann, Ahzee, Yves Deruyter, Paris Avenue, Dj Ghost, Daddy K, Dj Abdel, Cut Killer et bien d’autres… 

Mais aussi dans des soirées où de grandes stars y ont été conviées comme  Snoop Dogg, Jamel Debbouze, Big Ali, Clara Morgane,…

En 2022, Laurent a participé à l’émission « Mariés au premier regard » sur RTL Belgique et qui a est également diffusée sur M6 France. 
Un nouveau boost à sa carrière!
Depuis il joue partout en Wallonie-Bruxelles et multiplie les organisations et concepts de soirées et côtoie les plus grands dj’s du pays! 

Le tournaisien s’adapte à de nombreux styles!
On le retrouve dans des soirées 100 % généraliste pour la plupart du temps mais aussi dans des soirées Rétro House qu’il affectionne particulièrement ou encore  des soirées 100% House pouvant ainsi se remémorer la grande époque des grands clubs du pays qu’il a côtoyé !

Mais comme il aime le rappeler, avant d’être Laurent de Mariés au premier au regard, c’est surtout Dj Laurent Baert depuis 24ans…

Bref, une jolie carrière…
