Multi-talented DJ, remixer, producer, and turntablist DJ Midas is recognized as one of the most skilled contributors working in Canada.

Hailing from Montreal, one of the world’s most celebrated party cities, DJ Midas had began making his mark in the industry at a young age. At 14, he purchased his first set of turntables and swiftly became infatuated with the DJ world and the profession. Starting out in the late 90’s as a turntablist, Midas had already started rocking local Montreal bars and nightclubs by showcasing his sheer talent of mixing and scratching.

Midas has played at various high-profile venues around the country by performing DJ sets for a diverse number of concerts and shows. Midas was voted Top 2 in Quebec’s 2012 Redbull 3Style Compe- ition , played exclusive sets for the globally acclaimed Montreal International Jazz and the Just for Laughs festivals, Telus’ Ski & Snow- board festival in Whistler, and had been selected to DJ celebrity parties for the likes of actor/singer Tyrese Gibson and pop megastar Ke$ha. He has also shared stages with artists like Bun B, Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes and DJ Z-Trip to name a few.

With a musical style edged with House, Hip Hop, Electro, B-More, Dubstep, Reggae, and everything in between, Midas is more than equipped to make an audience move. Hence, a vast library of diverse music complimented by a unique style of mixing, scratching, and dexterity has helped Midas truly define the meaning of being an incred- ible all-format DJ/entertainer.

His quick scratching capabilities armed with live remixing techniques make Midas able to adapt to virtually any crowd and gives his industry counterparts a definite run.

With a solid foundation in turntablism fused with high-energy party-rocking club sets, Midas holds the formula that results in dancefloors nationwide asking for more!
