A big landmark beckons, it's @doline's debut LP, with it also being the first time a LP drops on Grid. The french producer has been making quite a name for himself, an affiliate of Teki Latex's Sound Pellegrino crew and also dropping a fantastic EP on the France's best, Paradoxe Club in 2020. This new album sets new heights for Doline, his trademark sound & style is prominent within 'Dompte-regard', with his intricate sound design ever present. 
Throughout the LP, his synth work and captivating melodies make it glide between blissful home listening and adventurous club tracks. Fluctuating through tempo & moods with ease, 'Dompte-regard' could not sum up Doline any better, a truly fantastic representation of an extremely talented emo producer. 

For the first time this release will be also proposed in a CD version ! A beautiful object designed by Unité Services. A concept around transparency "to tame your sight". Only 100 copies available.

Tokyo’s @dj-prettybwoy has kept things fiercely forward-facing on a contribution to the podcast series.

A bonafide OG of Japan’s dubstep scene, the veteran producer has always operated at the bleeding edge of electronic music. Making regular appearances at Goth-Trad's 'Back To Chill' parties in the early '00s, he’d also expand on his repertoire with a cameo for Big Dada's ‘Grime 2.0’ compilation.

More recently, outings for Shanghai's esteemed SVBKVLT label and the Flore-helmed POLAAR imprint have spanned everything from sino-grime to footwork deviations and gleaming, chromed-out club abstraction. Futurism has long been the unifying theme and this mix treads a similar path.

As the final few kick drums pounded out of the speakers on Monday night, one person waved their shirt wildly. An inflatable ball soared through the air. Everyone was dancing. Up on stage, Ben Sims and Truncate smiled as they faded out the last track of a blistering set, bringing down the curtain on a memorable weekend.

Steve Rachmad's Sunday night slot as STERAC was so impressive that we rated it as one of the weekend's key performances. As the rain lashed down outside, causing the temporary closure of the outdoor arenas, the place to be was under cover listening to the Dutch master. The dance floor was a heaving throng when the beat kicked back in on James Ruskin's "Work," the high point of a superb set.

Brooklyn's skilled, genre defying hip hop producer Vincent Williams aka DJ Spinna is an incredible DJ. We are honored to have him over for the next mix in the store series. 
The avid record collector usually visits record stores for hours and hours to make sure he doesn't leave anything untouched. This also happens today... During this afternoon and evening we've touched and shared a broad spectrum of releases. This mix includes 25 of his picks!

DJ Spinna began experimenting with turntables at age 11 and began his recording career in 1994 as a member of the the underground hip hop group Jigmastas. Throughout his career he has broken down musical barriers between the worlds of hip hop, house, soul and jazz working with everyone from Mos Def, Masta Ace, Pharoahe Monch and Eminem, to Eric Roberson, N'dea Davenport, and Mary Mary to Stevie Wonder, Roy Ayers and Sergio Mendes.
