Mladen Tomic returns to Night Light Records with three summer techno tracks. The opening song ‘Inside The Bottle’ is more heavier and more focused on a sub baseline. It has a clean techno sound with some of Mladen’s minimal signature parts. The second track on the EP is called ‘Voice Of The Bass’ which leads us into a more driving sound with an intense break; perfect for the hottest moment of your set. The last track ‘Optimus’ is one which Mladen’s sound is recognized for: the funky rolling baseline with some minimal percusion explodes into the perfect summer bomb. This EP originated 2015 and took **ages** until release.
It was also planned as a pretty deep EP originally at that time. However I dropped  two tracks and added two new ones to reflect at least a bit the recent return to techno with this EP as well... 
"Breathe" is one of the two "new" ones that came in for the two others that were dropped. 
The EP has 4 original Tracks and 2 excellent remixes from Dousk and Horatio.

High Tide Recordings co-founders Mongo deliver the labels second release in the form of two rumbling cuts this February.

Collective States is Dan Reid aka Sleeperhold and Gary Bennetton – two of the minds behind High Tide’s event series and newly launched imprint. ‘Carbon Freeze’ marks an exciting production debut for the Southampton based duo, however as DJs the pair have years of experience supporting many of the upper echelons of house and techno including Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Sasha and Dubfire. 
Crashing hats and a sultry low-end form ‘Carbon Freeze’ as energetic stabs and atmospheric synths generate a compelling groove. ‘Santa Carla’ is more intricate in comparison using tight percussion and infectious melodies for a mesmerising aesthetic. Geared for the dancefloor, both productions have picked up early support from the likes of Hot Since 82, James Zabiela, Cristoph and Alan Fitzpatrick.

It’s the pre-squeeze leading up to the big release. Mobilee presents this double-track treat on both vinyl and digital. 

The A-side tears it up with „Hartwood“, Rodriguez Jr.’s biggest hit to date. With a series of alternating and repetitive keyboard strokes and soulful lyrics bouncing on a thick velvet cushion of rich background base, this number is guaranteed to appeal to the industry’s most respected players. Already landing on the hard drives of Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier and Simian Mobile Disco “Hartwood” has gained a bit of airtime as loyal listeners burn for the final release date.

The B-side features Anja Schneider with a full out female power vocal number ironically titled, “Henry & Lars”. This track takes form from a very cuddly story that took place at BPM Festival in Mexico as Anja’s little guy and a stuffed animal named “Lars” found love and friendship in a little girl and her stuffed-animal she called “Henry”. And so the story went on…

The two outstanding tracks leading up the 7th mobilee back to back compilation on April 5th is just the tip of the iceberg! Look out for another digital release „mobilee back to back part 2“ before the back to back hits online stores and shelve.
