First off, full disclosure, I was set to make this mix for a month or so and it has been in the works for some time...but given the timing of when I'm putting it out, I want to dedicate this mix to MexOne.
    Thank you Mex for all that you did for the breaking community, for me, and for people's perception of breaking in the outside world. What's funny is that I start this mix with two songs I often play together, to start out a cypher. I remember I played this at Deuces Wild in Atlanta in 2013 and Mex was there and gave me a "oooo this is dope" look when I started playing the cypher. After the jam, he came up to me and said "I have to have you come and spin at Outbreak." I was incredibly honored and said that I would be there. That last Outbreak, in addition to being one of the best jams of my life, was also the setting off point for me in the breaking world. Because of the shine Mex gave me, I was soon contacted by European promoters and everything snowballed from there. In short, this man is literally the reason that I have been successful for the past few years. I feel like everyone I know has a story like this about him, whether its putting the Squadron together, helping out at a local jam, lending a hand to a promoter, shouting out a bboy, helping with BCone or other big competitions to keep the culture present in those events or any number of other things. His impact has been monumental in the breaking scene and  we're going to miss him so much. In addition to that, as a friend he was just a cool ass dude, always ready to chop it up, talk about something, joke about something...whatever. Thank you so much for everything brother, we're all so sad at your passing. The best thing that I can do to honor you is continue giving as much as I can musically, organizationally and otherwise to this culture. Love you man.
