Concordia Ferrum Corpus – Triumph Of The Will

From the ashes of past incarnations, a new era sparks to life - wired, alive, and pulsing with transmissions. Kris Baha returns with Livewire, a 3-track EP that marks the beginning of his next evolution: a collision of late 90s tribal-psy trance, techno breaks, and progressive grooves, romancing the chaos and dust of a Spiral Tribe doof.

The title track Livewire is the sound of shedding skin. Starting off like some lost crystal method cut, Kris sings ‘Flowers of Steel & Crystal’ - the first metaphor of this alternate reality which quickly mutates to a shape-shifting journey that moves like a multi-dimensional rave dream. Echoes of the inner self reminding you to keep listening to the voice within, re-amplified by the main dusty lead before the final liquid psy bassline slips in and warps us through to the other side. Somewhere in the static, a voice remains: “There’s a livewire through you.”

‘Livewire” channels the wired chaos of the 90’s era artists such as The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Underworld, Lunatic Calm, Crystal Method, and the ghost of the Hackers OST reimagined for now.

This isn’t a throwback - it’s a return, to feeling everything at once and we’re excited to roll out the sonic rebirth of Kris Baha.

Livewire - Kris Baha

Kin Teal (Bálint Haller) is a Budapest-based producer who makes organic and tactile music that’s rooted in club culture. So far, he has released two EPs (via London-based Tropopause Records and New York-based Human Pitch respectively), and his latest drop (‘Undercurrent’) was a single on Scuffed Recordings. The main aim of his project is to express the contrast and connection between nature and humanity through juxtaposing natural textures with machine-made ones, and this sensibility is ever so evident on ‘circadian’, his latest offering.

The five-track EP is tightly packed with unformalized and unpredictable bass music – as per Kin Teal’s ars poetica, heavily digital sounds are carefully intertwined with natural elements. ‘circadian’ is a polished, if not totally pristine body of work: the playfully raw, broken beats carry artifacts of living organisms. The human voice is a central element here; whether chopped and scattered or looped and ethereal, these vocal samples are what make the material really breathe. ‘circadian’ is peak body clock music condensed into 18-minute cycles.

In March of 2025, the Trump administration canceled and sought the return of grant funds allocated to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), followed swiftly by an even more aggressive accusation in June, when the administration alleged that CHIRLA’s nearly 40 years of service to the Los Angeles community was carried out illegally.

We know that CHIRLA’s work is critical in their “[promotion of] freedom of movement, full human rights…and vigorous civic action that strengthens this democracy.” Today it ought to be clear to all reading this that this agency of movement – which CHIRLA has fought so tirelessly to protect for its constituents – is vitally important, life or death, and wholly nonnegotiable.

In this spirit, the cover image for this compilation is comprised of images from the 2016 photo project Fatal Migrations by Josh Begley and Daniel Alarcón. The cover of Quémalo Todo depicts the exact site where one individual, Coralia Yaneth Ardiano Castro, was victimized by a hostile landscape of racist and xenophobic rhetoric turned administrative annihilation. This compilation seeks to honor and defend the personhood of Coralia and others like her.

As members of the Los Angeles community and beyond, the producers that make up this compilation were all similarly alarmed and catalyzed by these acts of administrative, physical, and psychic violence towards our neighbors, our friends, and the network of repressed individuals and communities that make this city what it is.

In defense of freedom of movement – of people and their voices, each of which is immeasurably precious – 100% of the proceeds of this compilation will be donated to CHIRLA in support of their work.
