As second installment of this month of August, elrow Music has prepared a very special release for all the eager ears that want to hear what's going on in the island, but couldn't come to see us yet! ERM137 goes by the name of 'Ibiza Off 2018' and has been compiled with all of the love and know-how our master and commander, De La Swing, could put in a release.

Opening the VA we have the two men behind elrow Music's latest success: De La Swing & Baum, who deliver 'Eina (Original Mix)', a track that encompasses elrow Music's philosophy in just a few minutes. With its tight percussion, carnivalesque vibe, and amazing vocals, this track is straight-out business, a song for any moment on the floor.

Another highlight is MircoCarauso's 'Makele (Original Mix), that starts with a nice and exotic vocal background, a looser percussion and a tribal-ish vibe to it, that develops as the vocals come to the forefront of the song, a perfect track for mixing in peak times.

We can neither oversee 'F__k Down (Oiriginal Mix)', by Roberto Surace, in which the Italian musician manages to create a funkier track, with hip-hop infused vocals and a lot of groove, perfect to create those magic breaking moments.

Finally, closing the compilation, we have Mescal Kids' 'Mind Set (Original Mix)', a track in which we find some truly soulful vocals, a steady percussion and an amazing key treatment: the vibe of a true banger, especially when all elements come together at the middle of the track.

All in all, another solid take by elrow Music, translating Ibiza's vibe into a wonderful eight-track collection. Don't miss it!

Nhan Solo s SUPERFETT RECORDS continues its exceptional run of recent form with two full funtional floor bangers of spanish hit makers GUILLE PLACENCIA, GEORGE PRIVATTI.
Both cooked up a heavy storm with their Overall Beatport #1 Hit What A Bam on their on imprint La Pera Records in 2017, you can find their very impressive soul infused rhythms tracks on plenty of top labels like Elrow Records or Sola.
Take Money is first and is a seven minute nasty bubbler with driving sub bass and an array of percussive house beats, funky interludes and energetic vocal howls that will get dancers moving and shaking. 100%% good times. :)
On the flip, Got Me Trippin pops off like corn, a dope groover with earthy drum sounds, freaky vocals that are expertly treated and loopy sub bass that really pulls you in. Add some fire vocals that really set things off and you have a sure fire winner.

Following up his recent Lucky EP on Moon Harbour and hot single ‘Push It Up’ on Kaluki, UK producer Eli Brown has delivered his 3-track EP, titled ‘Another Dimension’, on Solardo’s SOLA label.

Set to drop on 25th January, the EP showcases Eli Brown’s rugged beats through title-track ‘Another Dimension’ and the sinister sounds of ‘Low End Theory’. With the driven grooves of ‘Hopelessly Addicted’ rounding off the release, the production follows the success of Eli Brown’s Lee Foss collaboration ‘Freak You Right’ - which was widely supported on BBC Radio 1 by the likes of Danny Howard.

From its trail-blazing 90s rave-days to giving birth to the world-conquering Tomorrowland, Belgium has long punched above its modest size in the world of electronic music. Now rising star Siege, whose techy take on house has graced labels from Toolroom and Saved records to Yousef’s Circus, Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave and Adam Beyer’s Truesoul, can add his name to the influential acts that Belgium has gifted the world. 

Raised in Hasselt, outside of Belgium's best known clubbing centres, Siege is a beacon for the power of focus and self-determination. Buying his first vinyl turntables before he was old enough to go to a club, instead he listened to mixes on the internet, using this knowledge to buy the hottest records of the moment. It was after playing his first major gigs just a year or two later, however, that he realised he wanted to similarly inspire others by producing his own tracks. Self taught by his own dedication and the help of Future Music Magazine, when his first ever remix stopped just shy of the Beatport House Top Ten his reputation was assured. 

It was Defected who passed his breakthrough track 'Crunk' to Azuli, vocalist Eeva re-singing the hook to Mary J Blige's classic 'Family Affair', beginning an ascent that has made his releases a standard for DJs from Claptone, Mark Knight Carl Cox and Camelphat to the BBC Radio One family of Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Annie Mac and Monki. Continually evolving his sound, Siege’s latest productions have headed in a slightly darker direction, resulting in support from Adam Beyer, Yousef, Alan Fitzpatrick, Hot Since 82 and Nic Fanciulli, the latter of which was so enamoured with Siege’s sound that he signed the two-track Motion EP to his label Saved in summer 2019.
