This remix of the just released album Dive by Feiertag, is something very special indeed - a hazy, unpretentious future club classic taking its influences from both sides of the Atlantic.

This new project sees the producer return to something like his musical origins, diving deeper into the use of synths and embracing more offbeat melodies. How U Do It has its roots firmly planted in Detroit of course, but as well as its motor city connections there’s also a flavor of the UK scene in its DNA - something that Feiertag 
returns to time and again. British labels like Bradley Zero’s Rhythm Section and rising stars such as WheelUP are important touchstones for Joris’ sound, and here their broken beat (or “bruk”) legacy is felt alongside the US house feel and the moody, challenging vocals that run throughout.

Feiertag’s love for Oliver Dollar’s modern classic Doin Ya Thing is well documented, and in addition, the man himself has stepped up with a stunning remix. Ready for the next Soul Skate party...

2019 closes with a selection of 14 Exploited tracks that went down like a storm. 
There is Dutch youngster Budakid who impressed with 3 releases for Exploited this year in the form of Adieu X, No Strings Attached and The End, label longstay Joyce Muniz who teamed up with Little Boots on Strange Girl in the remix treatment by Black Loops, Swedish newcomers NEAT who stand out with a sound all of its own that you’d be hard pressed to pin down, disco and house newbies T.U.R.F., old friend The Mekanism with a gentle summer jam, James Curd with 2 outstanding dancefloor bombs in the remix by Sandboards (Feel My Bicep) and Bas Roos, producer legend Arthur Baker and not to forget Enduro Disco with three tracks that vibrantly manifest his modern disco desires.
All in all this is a great eclectic dreamy dance compilation by one of the leading deephouse labels out there.

Biography

       Born of funk and flow, Veev showcases the classic house sound with influences from disco, funk, jazz, and soul. This shows through Veev as a Producer/DJ/Promoter/Radio Host. He brings to the table an energy like none other. Hailing from Nova Scotia Canada, his skills on the decks have been moving feet in the underground House for some time.
    Veev has played many notable shows throughout the years such as Winter Music Conference in Miami and Evolve Festival, Canada's best Music Festival (as voted by CBC). Veev has his own monthly live DJ radio show on Sugar Shack Recordings and also Bi-Weekly radio show with Isaac Haze on Amsterdam's Most Wanted Radio and London Live FM every second Saturday. The first Canadians representing Canada on AMW live stream radio world wide. He was a Featured Artist in the DJ MAG Canada's Magazine December of 2013.
    Veev has played shows with some of the biggest heavy hitters in House Music such as Jason Hodges, Sonny Fodera, Gene Farris, Tommy Largo, Soulmates, Corduroy Mavericks, Lloydy Lou, J Caprice, Preach, Ed Marco, Scott Ducey, Chuck Daniels, T Mixwell, Corey Steers, and so many more! 
      At the age of 23 Veev moved up a notch to Producing the music he enjoys so much. Veev has tracks out some some of the Top House labels in the game. With tracks signed on JUICED MUSIC, FULL HOUSE DIGITAL RECORDINGS, MODULATE GOES DIGITAL, SPINS AND NEEDLES, 4DISCO, DISCO LEGENDS, SUGAR SHACK RECORDINGS, DOIN WORK RECORDS, BIG CITY BEATS, and H.A.R.D. He has also done remixes for Corduroy Mavericks, Demarkcus Lewis, UC Beatz, J Skilz and D-Mass and has had 4Peace, J. Caprice, Scott Ducey, Ryan Truman and James The Cat for remixers on his EP's.
