This mixtape is my tribute to David Lynch, blending music from his iconic soundtracks with tracks from my vinyl collection that capture the Lynchian vibe. Over the past two months, I’ve crafted a cinematic journey using a mix of dark jazz, braindance, speed metal, soul, 60's love ballads, drones, funk, and more—genres that all reflect the eerie and surreal world Lynch is known for. Inspired by his films and Twin Peaks, the mix takes you through haunting soundscapes and experimental moments, with a personal touch drawn from my daily walks through the forests of Brussels. It’s an unsettling, dreamlike ride that builds to a closing just like the way Lynch wrapped up Wild at Heart. If you’re ready for a sonic journey through the strange and mysterious, this one’s for you.
