Having released the highly acclaimed Rivers/Tokyo ASMR on Crosstown Rebels last year, Berlin’s Emanuel Satie returns to the label this March with the powerful Personal Liberation EP, showcasing the deep and emotive characteristics that Emanuel brings to his accomplished productions. Tribal-esque percussion leads the way in title track "Personal Liberation", progressing with haunting synths, dramatic keys and a hypnotising vocal. A track that subtly builds throughout, "Keys to Jupiter" is a moody yet blissful cut of electronic excellence, enhanced with divine piano keys. Last up, "Somewhere Else In Time" is a trippy and robotic number with break-beat style percussion and stirring synths.

2013 saw Silicone Soul celebrating the 10th Anniversary of their Darkroom Dubs imprint. Launched in Glasgow back in 2003, the DRD stamp has become a mark of quality and seen many established names exploring deeper realms whilst also unearthing fresh and exciting global talent. 

From Fabric to Watergate, The Standard Rooftop to Club Bahrein Buenos Aires, the Scottish duo have celebrated their disco-decade with a string of '10 Year' parties spread across the last 12 months, building on Darkroom Dubs already strong global reach. 

To round off their birthday in style Craig and Graeme have asked some of the label's main acts and strongest supporters to contribute a track for a new compilation. Artists including jozif, Ryan Crosson, Uner, Gary Beck, Of Norway and Simon Garcia all feature in the collection that Silicone Soul present as a snapshot of the future sound and musical vision of Darkroom Dubs. 

Due for release Feb 24th 2014 on double 12" vinyl and download.

Following a statement Anjunadeep debut with 2016's 'Over Clouds' EP, Germany's Koelle makes a welcome return to the label with four track EP 'Another Land'. 

First up title track and emotive deep cut 'Another Land'; a familiar moment from the label's recent iTunes dance #1 album 'Anjunadeep 08', given a special Deep 08 edit by Anjuna stalwart Jody Wisternoff and label boss James Grant; also featuring as the closing track on the package. Maintaining the momentum, another Deep 08 favourite, textured percussive cut 'Last Words'. Lastly, 'The Void', a quirky melodic groover layering delicate keys and vocal chants alongside a chugging bassline groove.

Crosstown Rebels' Serge Devant graces rising Swiss label RADIANT with his infectious dancefloor-focused style via a driving remix of Fabio Aurea's new track  'Yini'. 

The Fabio Aurea original is pure Balearic deep groove bliss, glimmering with cosmic textures and captivating rhythm. Now Serge Devant flips the ballad into a rolling percussively-laced ballad, featuring warm bass, fluttering synths and a sensual vocal hook. With the sunny season on the horizon, the house cut is primed to make an impact on the dancefloor.

'Yini', which also features remixes by Armonica and Frederick Stone, is set for release March 15.

With his Italian roots clearly showing in his passionate execution of house bomb after house bomb, Durante delivers a fine brace of tracks on the Evaporate EP for Street Tracks.

Past releases on labels like Amtrac’s Openers imprint, Nice Age and Earthly Delights have helped establish the LA based producer’s credentials, and he shines once again across the two tracks here.

‘Evaporate’, featuring PaulWetz, dispatches a lazy disco groove over its seductive bassline and endearing keys, a perfect, breezy house cut for the long hot summer.  PaulWetz drops a captivating vocal and conscious lyric to bind this warm production together.  Steering musically into more progressive territories, ‘Once Again’ pumps low and heavy, a juicy and round bottom end rhythmically chugs as soaring synths and percussive hits raise the temperatures!

Dee Montero is a lifer. He’s the former Mambo Ibiza resident who at the end of 2017 received Pete Tong’s Essential Tune Of The Year on BBC Radio One for the string-fuelled, epic end-of-nighter ‘Halcyon’, originally released on Solomun’s acclaimed Diynamic imprint. And he’s been busy ever since with various eps including ‘Pangaea’ on Knee Deep In Sound, ‘Shadows’ on All Day I Dream and also the scintillating ‘In The Wild’ and ‘Headspace’ featuring Meliha on Anjunadeep.

From Asia to America and everywhere in between it’s all been about the music for Dee. Performances in Australia, India and Dubai have been interspersed with US tours and appearances at Burning Man on the Robot Heart and Carl Cox Playground stages as well as summer shows in Ibiza including Hï with Joris Voorn and Nic Fanciulli.

In 2020 Dee launched his own imprint Futurescope bringing in fellow musical alchemists Patrice Baumel, Fort Romeau and Lauer for remix duties. He unleashed his diverse 12 track artist album ‘Artifacts’ to the world in 2022 playing to those deft melodic touches, twinkling synths and positive peaks. ‘Maya’, the standout track from the LP and a homage to Future Sound Of London’s ‘Papua New Guinea’ got a special rework from mastermind Rodriguez Jr. pushing the release to even bigger, higher heights. 

As well as forthcoming eps on Nora En Pure’s Purified label later this year Dee’s next single ‘Freedom’ on Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound will continue the upward electronic pressure into summer 2023. These are exciting times for an artist with Dee’s attention to detail and there are so many sonic terrains still left to discover…
