SAISONS019 is here and we are happy to welcome back our label founder Kora.

This EP displays a diversity of warm colours, travel stories and distant melodies.

Tantale is center piece of this release: a percussive and energetic story that started in Mexico and reached its full elevation when the inspiring Québec-based healer and musician Ra*faelle added her voice to Kora’s instrumental piece. Rooted in nature’s frequencies, she improvises in what she humbly describes as Earth Language. A mystical way of channeling nature’s vibrations into sound.

Last year Rebirth Records celebrated 10 years with the release of the acclaimed compilation selected and mixed by Larry Heard. We are now happy to present 'Rebirth 10 Remixed': a special collection, available on a limited 2x12” vinyl edition, and three digital parts, including brand new versions of some of the classics of the label in the first ten years.

The first part includes remixes from Red Axes, Rampa, Modular Project and VVV. The hot Tel Aviv duo Red Axes bring their trademark new wave sound to a tropical dimension remixing Robytek's 'Luna Africana' combining unusual melodies of bells, chimes and perc drums. The Keinemusik boss Rampa is back with a killer remix of 'Deep Musique' by Pasta Boys Feat. Osunlade, definitely another dancefloor peak time cut on Rebirth. The italian duo Modular Project add their electronic-balearic touch to the Blond:ish vocal anthem ‘Wizard of Love’, while the misterious bass producer VVV reworks another classic on the label, ‘Crossroads’ by T-Polar, giving us a sublte but heavy deep and futuristic synth work. 

The cover sleeve is a work by Emil Schult, who has created a painting especially for the Rebirth's Anniversary. Emil is known for his work with electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk. Schult's collaboration with founders Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider saw him actively involved in writing lyrics as well as generating the design for some of the band's most famous covers.

Blond:ish Feat Shawni - Wizard Of Love (Modular Project Remix)

Bedouin was first featured on the label's 2015 Summer Sampler with ‚Flight Of Birds’ helping build their reputation as master music makers. 

Following on from this is their first full EP on All Day I Dream. 
Each track casts its own unique spell. One thing Rami and Tamer know is mood. Opening with 'Straight To The Heart' beauty and hypnotic vibes abound. Sounding as good pitched up as it does at it's patient pace, it's groove ignites the dance floor as well as the heart. 

‚The Way Home’ takes it's time to build textures and layers creating a more somber mood. 

The EP is close out with the vocals of Eric Volta on ‚Sight’, perfectly complimenting the overall mood of the release.

Once a year on the date of the summer solstice Sol Selectas release their annual Summer Sol compilation to celebrate the years longest day of sunshine. Blending eloquent melodies with earthy percussion, this release covers a diverse section of sub genres ranging from melodic house to low slung electronica.

Compiled over a twelve month period by label owner Sabo, the fourth edition in the series features 25 tracks including artists such as Amentia, Dandara, Canson, Mark Alow, Mass Digital, Gabriel Belmudes, Robbie Akbal, plus many others.

Sabo also features his own music on the release which is showcased in this eight track sampler including a cross section of tracks that fully express the magic of this stunning release.

As the sun travels round the world to warm our hearts, bodies and minds, the concept of this release series is also to embrace world culture, as under the sun’s rays we are all equal no matter our skin colour, sexuality or gender.

Fully embracing the diversity of cultures around the world, this release includes artists from over 18 countries with vocals spoken, chanted or sung in many different languages.

Previous Summer Sol releases have charted No.1 on Beatport and it’s expected that the fourth offering will fair no differently continuing the popularity of the series.

Sol Selectas is very much a community with each of the artists thought of as brothers and sisters of the label's close-knit family, and this is also represented in the label artwork designed by Sabo’s fiancé Helia Jamali.
