Josh (@soundcloud.com/josh-t-music) is certainly one of the most ecletic selectors (and DJs) out there. Whether in his mobile record shop (now dysfunct unfortunately), with his buddie James as "The Ghost", or flying solo: the amount of quality records that have gone through this man's hand is close to unmatched.

For 5918mins., Josh unpacks a mix unlike anything we have ever heard before. It is hard to pin down genre-, or time-wise, but it is safe to say that it is up there with our favorite mixes of all time. His approach feels very patient, yet goes from organic to synthetic, from uplifting to drowzy and back within 80 minutes. Maybe it is the reappearing pockets of breathing space, the passages of insightful, beautiful vocals - or maybe, we'll never really know and just enjoy.

🪐 kicking off 2024 with a new series entitled “nep-tunes” where we’ll be inviting some of our favourite artists to dig deep and share their more chilled and experimental selections.

joining us for the first instalment is a veteran to the scene... @adamshelton_infinitespace 

adam over the past two decades has focused on life as a dj, building a name for himself in his home town of birmingham running his party below and co-owning the rainbow venues between 2005-15. he was a fundamental part of changing the landscape of digbeth and its party scene. whilst all this was going on adam went on to embark on an international dj career, playing on some of the most sought-after clubs and stages around the world from panorama bar in berlin to iicon at glastonbury festival and for ten years ran one records label with subb-an. a record collector since the mid-nineties and an event curator and programmer there are many strings to adam’s bow.  

in more recent years adam has honed his craft as a sonic explorer playing a more experimental sound under his a-future alias which focuses on intricate breaks and miami bass influenced electro, also sharing sound in the well-being world using music as a healing modality whilst playing sets to guide yoga and meditation classes.

For our second episode, we have invited a DC local selector Peter Kaufmann for a delightful trip into his record collection.  Expect plenty of airy downtempo, jazzy deep house and snazzy feel-good house to beat those winter blues.

Great things in life take time, we all know that. And that's why, after a couple of years of anticipation, we're delighted to welcome of dear friend Flord King to the series.

As a founder of Lyssna Records and member of local party crew Ljudtendens, Flord King a.k.a. Elliot Gillström has been a mainstay in the Stockholm scene for 10+ years now.

His contribution to the Oufffcast series is a 3-hour recording from Sisyphos in 2023. It's a mix that encapsulates the soul and highlights the breadth of Elliot's musical philosophy. Deep, elegant and trippy - the sounds of Flord King are always meticulously curated and impeccably combined. 

So with that in mind, do poor yourself a glass of your favorite beverage, get them headphones on and enjoy the journey<3
