Playing after the Boss herself always makes me nervous, Chelsea Brown is a dear and close friend who is also a bad ass DJ behind the decks. Joel who is also a great friend was playing after me and played some seriously dark and upbeat tunes, well done Dirty Doily!

I had the absolute honour to close our legendary dome on Sunday night, last night of Underland our Vic Burn. 

The dome was heaving, so many familiar faces on the dance floor and on the bar. It was a dream set having the pleasure to close our space at the end of an amazing week in Paradise. 

A lot of the tracks I ended up playing were direct response to the dome's vibe that night, I had a different plan for this closing set but the crowd and the dome dictated the vibe and energy at the end. 

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I had the pleasure of playing at one of our theme camp fundraiser parties again. This was a special one as I was playing aftre the legend himself NTy Nick and before my good mates Joel and Kunal.
Playing at 1:00am and the brief I got from the crew meant planning for a very upbeat and driving set which is not my usual style. 
Dance floor looked great and had the right vibe for this high energy set... hope you enjoy it kids!

I was one of the lucky five to get the chance to open CPL's amazing Saloon on Thursday night at Underland. It was a pleasure playing on the first night of the Burn and experience the magic of this badass Saloon one more time. 

I got asked to play funky, chunky, groovy, and fun for this set. 

The Saloon was quite bouncy, high energy and fun all night long. Thank you to CPL's amazing crew for having me.

MEM's Hedonistic Heaven

This was the highlight of Seed for me, playing on Coco Poco Loco's iconic art car right after my man Sam Gibbard, effigy was on fire, dance floor was going crazy, locomotive was bouncing, and I was not there... I was flying high! 

I was pretty tired, happy and distracted, it's not my smoothest mix, but definitely one of my fav ones.

Dengelman was playing right after me which made me change my plans for this set. I was playing earlier in the night, and I have a lot of respect for Dan's music and his talent so I played quite different and slower than what I usually play to set the right vibe for his set and the other bandits who were playing after him. Together we created the right vibe in that dome on Friday night. It was deep and hot! 

Every time I get to play in the dome I feel the same, same emotions and feelings. I hope I never get used to that feeling! 

There is no place like The Dome.

I felt pretty humbled to be asked to play on Coco Poco Loco's artcar for 'Dan Bleaney' Post Temple Burn tribute party. 

For those who don't know Dan, he was a fine man and one of the pioneers of theme camps in Melbourne. He has inspired many and brought a bunch of amazing crew together to make Coco the beast that is today. You can certainly see his influence in many other camps who started after CPL and joined the madness!

After the Temple burn SynCity came together as one and paid its respects to a legend who shall not be forgotten.

I feel lucky to be invited to this amazing gathering in Sydney. Papania's Burning Seed fundraiser was MAGICAL. Hands down one of the most beautiful bush gathering that I've been to. 

It was such a humbling experience playing before two of my good mates from Melbourne in such an amazing night. I tried to keep the vibe deep and groovy but still upbeat to leave some room for Dan (dengelman) and Alex Anderson to take it to the next level after me.

Dance floor was heaving and full moon was shining...

Coco Poco Loco - Effigy Burn - Seed 2019

This is a tribute to Papania crew, to thank them all for what they do and create together. For their magic.

I was supposed to play at their fundraiser festival (VisionA) in March. I was scheduled to close the dome at 3.30am Sunday morning right after the smiley man himself: Lucas!

I recorded this set from the playlist that I had ready for this party. The plan was to stick to really low bpm tracks and deeper sounds to close the dome by sunrise (85 - 115bpm). It's definitely a new territory for me and not my smoothest work. 

Can not wait for the next VisionA. Until then, keep smiling and stay positive :-)
