From the UK, South Africa, France and Australia, Inner Shift Music presents their Collective Continents II release, with Mark Hand, Platform 001, G-Prod and Leo Gunn. The Ep starts with Take Some Chances which has Jazz influenced pads, chords and changes with an addictive hook, by Mark Hand who has recent releases on Soul Print and Apollo. Next comes The Last Letter by newcomer Platform 001 - a deep house track with some funk style house chords and an inspiring spoken word poem, which holds the listener's attention throughout.

On the B side we have the Gaugain brothers G-Prod (who have releases on R&S and Nightflight), with their track Horizon which has a more techy feel with its moody pads, melodic lead and subtle but driving bassline.AAThe EP is complete with a whole other level of head-nodding deepness and warmth, with Aheeoo which you would come to expect from Leo Gunn, who is noted for his multiple appearances on Deep Explorer. 

Deep, jazzy, techy, warm and diverse, this EP is everything there is to love about deep house.

When he was a child Pirrès grew up with a lot of Disco Funk records his dad played all the time at home. He quickly catched the disease and started traveling back and forth to the diamond city to dig at Wally’s Groove World. At the age of 15 he got his first residency in the only club in his village.

After he was tired of just doing nothing and smoke weed in his hometown he decided it was time to move to Antwerp where he was quickly noticed by the right kind of people.  “there was no social media back then, it was another type of networking. Just face to face!”

His big dream is to become a Formula 1 driver but he’s more than happy to be out there these days. Finishing new tracks in the studio and hopefully organizing more parties when all of this is over.

 Beautifully talented Melchior Sultana, Born in Malta, Is a composer and multi instrumentalist. Growing up in an atmosphere of rich traditions, culture and arts in the middle of the Mediterranean can deeply sculpt a spirit. Melchior Sultana represents music as an art with no boundaries.

Everything started by understanding the various forms of sound. This interest in "sounds" gradually led to experience, study, knowledge and to an ongoing evolution of an artist. His experiences and knowledge through out his musical career led to the believe that music is a form of art that needs to remain pure. this means that music and art in general should reflect one's true inner voice and artistic execution and not be infected by non-artistic entities. This philosophy was carried out and is being practiced through out his music.

As a multi instrumentalist playing Guitar, Piano and Bass, Melchior Sultana is involved in various projects from classical to contemporary to Live band and electronic music productions. Melchior Sultana performed live at some of the most prestigious places from Cafe Del Mar in Malta to Panorama Bar, Berghain, IPSE in Berlin, Tresor and Rex Club Paris. Previous works show the wide musical vocabulary of this artist and his open mentality approach to music.

Mallorca-based Satore started listening to soul, jazz, funk, disco, house, and techno under the influence of the American school from Detroit, Chicago, New York and San Francisco. He always paid special attention to Basic Channel’s dub, the deepness of Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus’ beats, and at the same time identifies with American house and the new wave of European producers who came to the spotlight at the end of the 20th century. After graduating as a sound engineer, he focused on his own productions, creating sounds with drum machines, a sequencer and some synthesizers, working on several projects with other ambient and jazz musicians, with a special focus on dub and deep house. Satore’s productions have been released on labels such as Minuendo, Feelharmonic, Instabil, Avantroots, and Deep Explorer. In 2011 he founded his own label, Hizou Deep Rooted Music, releasing vinyl by artists such as DJ Aakmael, Rick Wade, Anton Zap, and Gari Romalis. Satore is a resident DJ at Garito Café in Palma, where he specializes in mixes of funk, disco and house, always on the lookout for new ways to enjoy sound.

Ernie, the Spanish international is located in Madrid and the labelhead of Minuendo Recordings which delivers some of the finest and unusual house tracks since 2004. He is a passionate dj and producer who really takes care of details not only when he’s producing or mixing. Minuendo Recordings is handnumbered, you had the chance to choose between different stamps you want on your record and much more.
