DEEP FLIGHT RECORDS 

Deep Flight was launched in 2005 by DJ's Stu-E & Andy Jackson from Sheffield in the north of England.

Over 3 years we pressed a total of 8 Vinyl Releases on the main label and 3 Vinyl releases on sub labels (Azbo/Vito) that were distributed with our mix CD albums and live recordings from our club night Bass Heaven in HMV and all independent dance music record stores worldwide.

With 6 of the biggest Bassline producers signed exclusively to the label Deep Flight Records tracks were smashing all Bassline dance floors. 

An underground music label that delivered all aspects of the Bassline on each release from big vocal warpers to uplifting organ tracks and heavy 4x4 dubs. 

The releases had limited coloured vinyl pressings and these are now rare collectables.

During the end of the 00's Dj technology changed and with this came the decline of records, With this Deep Flight Records needed to move with the market and go digital so dfdownloads was made. A download website that allowed fans of our music to purchase the tracks direct. 

But due to the scene becoming more urban and darker following a merge with the grime scene it became overwhelmed with problems and many big events were shut down with police and licensing executed a zero tolerance to the Bassline scene. 

This combined with a saturation of producers turning over too much new material lead to the quality of the production in the scene jeopardised. Deep Flight and our producers were no longer inspired to continue with little revenue involved it was time to call Bassline a day.

Now years have passed and old school bassline events are appearing all over the place and so Deep Flight Records returns to help to re vamp the scene with fresh top quality productions and a merge in Jackin sounds that has yet to break into the Sheffield dance music scene.

So please help by supporting an original underground Bassline label.

Lets restore Bassline  and also welcome our break through into the vibrant Jackin House scene
