We are thrilled to anounce a true electronic poem created by Roel Funcken, who needs no introduction.
Roel's music is advanced in sound design, often incorporating unique experimentation in electronic sound, with cut-up, twisted, atmospheric sonic soundscapes, leaving the cranium always begging for more. His ambient textures maintain a cinematic quality throughout, while his percussive arrangements retain a constantly mutating framework, always reconstructing its rhythm and structure, contradicting complex configurations and minimal design. It's always a pleasure to taste the latest treat from this aural engineer, and find the latest gem in his never-ending arsenal of sound.

- Mainly just to keep my head straight.

- It’s pretty simple nowadays. A computer a sound card and good monitors. Especially with collaborating its all you need.

phew, that's a lotta tracks in 2 hours! fun with lots of frail808 classics, a.k.a. tay's 2nd tangle with the xone92. remembered how the filters work this time (mostly). fun fact - since this was a halloween show i was dressed as daria for this set :)

late set, so came in pretty tired but fairly dialed in. amazing space and sound system, such a special environment. didn't realize until afterwards how many pangaea tracks i played in this set! loved dead opening on the bodysnatch after acid daddy's incredible live set - this track is slowly becoming one of my favorites to play out, every time i've played it it opens up the dancefloor like no other track in my library! had been meaning to play that serious danger track for quite a while too, it's a favorite of mine that i'd not felt the right moment to drop until this night. such an anthem, will be making a point to play this one out more! loved having a little bjork moment at the end too - hyperballad always moves me to tears when i play it out, and this night was no exception <3
