this set I played during my alpe lusia tour through asia. 
Faust in Seoul/South Korea is quite a tiny club but just the way I like it. 

Equipment used: Elektron Octatrack, Elektron Rytm, Nordlead4, Surface Pro4 as Mastering Processor.

August's mix comes from a place of reflection on travel, thinking about culture and sense of place. Being an outsider looking in, perhaps one can only scratch the surface. But maybe, in another way, experiencing a well-aged surface actually presents a rich, nuanced expression of character, developed deeply over time. Maybe wrinkles, eyes, and smiles tell our stories more honestly than intentions.

Hopefully a bit of that comes thru in this mix, selections with complex, detailed textures, which also feel like expressions of something deeper.
