I was introduced to this Froggy Collective via the Boulevard release in the mid 90's: comfortably familiar and yet unlike anything you had heard before.  I still hold them in a very special place.  The difference now is that I have an Amp, Dac & 2 speakers that retail for £6k so twenty years on, I finally hear those punishingly deep basslines flawlessly reproduced in a way which blew me away a few months ago when 'rediscovered'.

Berlin-based Robosonic welcome the springtime with their first OFF EP.

"Worst Love" uses an anthemic sample to create a groovy dancefloor burner with tight groove.

Doctor Dru delivers a contemporary underground pop remix.

Fritz Zander from the Suol collective made a "Panorama Bar 9 am"-styled remix for the real house-heads.

And with "Thankful", Robosonic give us a 2nd original track, slightly more toolish than Worst Love.

For years Robosonic have been building a reputation as DJs for murdering dancefloors worldwide – not only playing what they really feel, but also performing their own multidimensional electronic music. Together with the Adana Twins from Hamburg they made a hot new EP on 2DIY4.

The first track is made up of melodic disco and funk inspired tunes and easy basslines which immediately bring you to the vibe of summer. The lovely Vocal adds further feelings of recklessness and freedom which will immediately get you to dance.
The second track „Barracuda“ takes a darker approach with it’s dirty bassline, still combining disco infected vocals and elements in style. It is like turning back time right into the disco- dancefloor of the 70’s!
