“What I love most about House music is rhythm and soul. That's the basis of everything this scene is about, and it's what I strive for in every single one of my productions. This record was honestly a very happy accident – my production style is based on a lot of trial and error. Once I got the vocal chop together, I knew I had something. The majority of the track was made without any drums; they got added in the end. It's easier for me to find the vibe and emotion of a song without the kick smacking my ears the whole time, but when I finally added the drums, the track really came to life. “What is it that's unique about House music? For us, it's the fact that it contains the spirit of soul and funk, but with a tempo to dance to. Even though House music nowadays exists in thousands of variations, it's amazing to us that the essence never actually changes. Rough beats and sampled grooves will always make people want to dance. Lately, we've been listening to a lot of old school House and Hip-Hop tunes and we've really rediscovered that jackin' and analogue sound. 'Crowned' is a result of this. We have sampled some vintage stuff from the late ‘70s, put so much time and effort into the beats, and the result is a House record with an authentic and analogue touch.”
 
For their debut release on Toolroom Records, Piemont present ‘Crowned’, a solid slice of organic underground House music crafted through genuine and ingenious musicianship.

Hot Creations gives the summer season a warm goodbye with fourteen exclusive tracks from their roster serving up a selection of ‘Hot Summer Jams’.

Featuring new material from label figurehead Jamie Jones, alongside new tracks from favourites Patrick Topping, Russ Yallop, Jey Kermis and Tom Flynn, the collection also introduces new talent such as Jamy Wing, Beep Dee and Pete Dorling and Santé & Sidney Charles. The latter have constructed a dance floor smasher that will be heard many times in the coming weeks: "All Night Long"

Santé and Sidney Charles will be seen during ADE at Verknipt & Nachtcollege's special Avotre and Mobilee Records showcase, where the likes of Darius Syrrosian, Lee Van Dowski, Hector Couto, Dale Howard and many more will be sharing the stage with them.

"Hot Summer Jams" will be released on the 22nd of September.

wAFF makes a welcomed return to Hot Creations with three original cuts on his mighty ‘Fat Gash EP’.
Playfully named after his best friend, title track ‘Fat Gash’ is a dancefloor monster with highly infectious vocals, while ‘Shabby’ has powerful keys, sonic builds and rolling percussions. Over on the flip ‘Connected’ is a high energy hitter with smooth vocals and a serious party vibe.

Since releasing his “Rainbows EP’ on Hot Creations in 2012 and following with a number of successful releases and remixes, wAFF has become a staple part of the crew playing with the likes of Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Richy Ahmed all over the world and is now entering into his third year as resident at DC10 for Paradise. There's not a day goes by where we don't find ourselves thinking about just how much fun Bristol's biggest house-head Eats Everything is. On our glummer days we daydream about stepping into the bloke's shoes, just for an evening, and experiencing the thrill of smashing through chunky cut after chunky cut to huge, adoring crowds. Sadly it's never going to happen, so we'll just have to keep tapping him up for exclusive tunes so we can share them with you.

Today, we're delighted to be sliding the premier of a new club-banger from the Edible man. "Chitter Chatter (Dub Version)" is a rip-roaring, steely, clattering belter taken from a brand new EP on Pets Recordings, the label owned by Polish duo Catz N' Dogz. 

In addition to Eats' steely slammer, the release features fantastic material from Stefano Ritteri, Walker & Royce, and Kim Ann Foxman, making it the best four pack we've purchased since we stepped out of the local offie last week with a full-to-the-brim blue bag. Don't Stop Events is the brainchild of a group of friends keen to bring our musical flavour to London without the pomp of VIP tables, £10 a pop cocktails, ridiculous entrance fees, no trainer policies, stolly bollys or kicking out at 3am. Our passion is for the music that fuels great nights and the people who dance until the sun comes up.

Our launch night will be on the 15th of November 2014 at club NOMAD (58 Old Street Road - 5 minutes walk from Old Street Roundabout) with tickets priced at £5. Doors open at 10pm and we'll play for pretty much as long as your feet keep moving.
