Our 'Good Morning from ...' Guest Mix series will explore different artists from all around the world as they take us on a journey with their distinct and unique sounds that they'll showcase to represent their taste, surroundings and upbringing.

We're back in the tropics of Miami for our latest morning story, and for residents of Miami, life must sometimes feel like a full-time vacation. 

Along Ocean Drive, bright pink and yellow Art Deco buildings pop against the blue backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. On Calle Ocho, the smell of freshly baked croquetas wafts through the air. Walk past any bar or nightclub and the sound of Latin music blasts onto the streets, turning even an empty parking lot into a salsa dance floor.

In his own words:

Rumours have it that he escaped from a confetti factory in some faraway place, and that he was on the road with a flea circus afterwards. That would explain why all those sepia-coloured scenes from exotic places appear before the inner eye of his listeners: With the steady, hypnotic rattle of a steam train in the background, they show sequences from Middle East, South America, India, and from the infinite realms of Inner Space. 

It's this organic amalgamation of traditional, hand-played music and the digital functionality of House beats that makes Timboletti a very special DJ and producer.

"A few eyebrows may have been raised when Job Jobse snuck into our top DJs of 2014 list, but for those who have seen him play over the past few years it won't have come as a surprise. Jobse gradually built his name as a resident DJ at the much-loved—and now defunct—Amsterdam nightclub Trouw. He was a regular at its predecessor, Club 11, and his party Drukpers was the first-ever event at Trouw when it opened in 2009. Five years later, Jobse brought the house down when he span the last-ever set at the club, something he describes below as "the biggest honour I can think of." In the intervening years he played a significant role in establishing Trouw as one of Europe's best clubs. His melodically rich mix of house, techno, disco and Italo soundtracked countless parties, and as the club's booker he helped shape the broad-ranging music policy that defined Trouw. Until recently he was also the label manager at Life And Death, the label that along with Innervisions has popularised a style of dance music that Jobse himself calls trance—or at least a form of it. In our recent Thoughts on 2015 piece, we said this style has become the dominant force in underground club music; with his international bookings stacking up, Jobse looks like he's now a key name in this movement."

Growing up with a classical and jazz background, which included a heavy feed of Bach and Miles Davis, Hubert discovered his talents as a musician at an early age.

His electronic music endeavors started around the time he moved to Amsterdam at age 18, and he was enthused by the electronic dance scene. Since that first endeavor, his discography has grown with releases on Traum, Parquet, SOSO, Subjekt, Blankhaus, Open Records, Morgen.am and more to follow this year. Besides these productions he performed DJ/Live-sets at Pleinvrees, Loveland, DGTL, Sisyphos, La Reve and many more.

John Monkman and Pete Tong unite once more on "AURORA", this time for John's new label Beesemyer Music. "AURORA" is unveiled above from the London producer and UK seminal DJ Pete Tong. During its seven-minute length, "AURORA" takes us through an enchanted journey, steered along with a thundering synth lead, vocal snippets, and momentary hi-hat attacks.
Pete and John have teamed up twice in the past, including for prestigious German label Kompakt. Both tracks did extremely well and their first collaboration "The Bumps" received remixes from the likes of Moby and Julian Jeweil last year.
John Monkman introduced himself on the dance music radar in 2015, gaining the attentions of Jonas Rathsman, Skream and Kidnap Kid. While Pete Tong is one of the most well-known radio and club DJ on the planet, an integral host on Radio 1 since 1991, presenting the weekly Essential Mix series where the world's biggest DJs lay down a two-hour mix.
