Hailed as “LA's best kept secret”, David “DAVI” Khanjian internationally acclaimed DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner grew up surrounded by the sounds of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Deeply passionate about music since childhood, it didn't take long before he was admitted to the prestigious Komitas State Conservatory's music department in Yerevan, Armenia. But it wasn't until his move to Los Angeles that the magic truly began to unfold.

At the young age of 17, Davi began producing electronic dance music inspired by many world-class producers and DJjs like Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Howells and 16 Bit Lolitas. Shortly thereafter he was the resident at the top electronic dance club in Armenia where his career began to unfold. 

With his move to Los Angeles in 2006, Davi dove right into the underground scene and locked himself in the studio for years to follow while playing at local Los Angeles clubs nights like Monday Night Social at Playhouse, Avalon, and Vanguard.

Davi’s countless hours in the studio opened many doors for him, first of which was remixing Robert Babiczs’ “Zero” anthem which was released on the new Treibstoff label at the time. Earning recognition from top DJs in the scene like John Digweed, Guy J, Nick Warren, and 16 Bit Lolitas; Davi began establishing a name for himself in the Los Angeles underground scene. 

Shortly thereafter in 2010 Davi became a resident DJ for Insomniac Events in Los Angeles, where he established his residency at Exchange LA and began playing Insomniac Festivals including twice at Escape from Wonderland opening for Richie Hawtin’s Enter stage. Since Davi’s connection with Insomniac, he has been sharing the decks with some of the top producers and DJ’s of our time including John Digweed, Sasha, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Green Velvet, Art Department, James Zabiela and Hernan Cattaneo to name a few. 

Davi’s name can be found on multiple labels today including Rebellion, Anjunadeep, Treibstoff, Hope Recordings, and Baroque. After having attended Burning Man for over six years, Davi collectively put all his Rebel heart inspiration in the studio to create his first Crosstown Rebels EP in 2013 called “Two Suns in the Sky.” This was a tremendous boost to Davi’s career, which led him to begin touring worldwide in 2014 having visited London, Amsterdam, Israel, New Caledonia, Canada and all over the United States Miami, New York, Boston, and Las Vegas among others.  After Two Suns In the Sky, I wanted to release another similar EP with the same mystic vibe and harmonies, but I wanted the EP to be about something else,” DAVI explains. “As I might take a little  break from making Middle Eastern sounds, I wanted this one to be as special. The word ‘Babylon’ is used in a larger sense to describe the modern world, and the importance it places on wealth and power.”

Treading throughout the infinite oasis of cultural electronica since 1995,  DJ/producer and Mood Lounge night club owner - Shahrokh - presents his exquisite original mix of atmospheric house and lovestruck synth-driven jams.

Sharokh's stand-out point is his eclectic blend of influences from his Iranian childhood and German upbringing; a concoction many DJs can't offer. He's gone on releasing on labels such as Black Flame Records and Caus-N’-ff-ct Records, and his distinctive approach that caught the attention of artists such as Jazzanova, Carl Craig, Hans Nieswandt, DJ Deep, King Britt, Charles Webster, Peter Kruder and many more. He's also the esteemed nightclub owner of Mood Lounge, a club that once hosted artists such as Âme and many of the previously mentioned. He usually spends the summer time in the southern territories of Europe - and was this year already part of the Sonar Festival Off-week in Barcelona. You can catch him at the upcoming ADE in Amsterdam and within the bounds of the party circuit in Ibiza.

Premiering on DHA is the Bristol-based trip-hop, DnB group Kosheen, who showcase their remix of multi-genre fusion band Degrees of Freedom - which is composed of singer Kyo (Isha Campbell) and producer Break (Charlie Bierman).

Setup as a trio between Welsh singer-songwriter Sian Evans, Markee Ledge, and Darren Decoder - Kosheen released multiple albums with the latest being signed by Universal and Sony. They've been around since the 90s and are famous for their classic 'Hide You' drum and bass release in the early '00s. For this release, Kosheen bring a Garage-techno vibe with a mix of a classic old-skool bass line, big club sound, dubby snare echoes, and minimal peppering of vocal slices.

Composed of Tom Noah and Bas van der Laken, Leiden-based duo Formel share their remix of Albin Lee Meldau's Lou Lou.

While fighting over the last bottle of vodka in a backstage fridge, Tom and Bas struck up a musical friendship that started Formel. Formel debuted in 2013 on Daniel Sanchez’ Bla Bla Records with a follow up on Berlin-based Einmusika Recordings. They went on releasing on labels such as Traum, Einmusika Recordings, Sincopat, Hotfingers, Manual Music & Save Room. Out fresh is their Melodikast Podcast - their own monthly podcast series.

Performance wise - they've made appearances at renowned festivals such as Barcelona's Sonar Off Week - Einmusika meets Katermukke, Pleinvrees Heroes (Amsterdam), ADE, Doorgedraaid Festival (Leiden), and Graefenthal (Netherlands). In light of the previously mentioned released podcast, they will make an appearance at Goldfish Outdoor this summer. Alongside that they will release some tracks at Olivier Weiter's label Weiter, a remix on Manual Music, and a new EP via Tach & Nacht with remixes by Mononoid.

The Amsterdam-based collective https://soundcloud.com/weareinbetweenworlds present their track off the 2nd Volume of https://soundcloud.com/ededberlin's Eclectic compilation series on Moodmusic Records.

Involved in the Inbetween Worlds collective is Apotheque, Bold Moves, The Wolf Upstairs and Kimou - a group of friends who all share a passion for music. The intention of the project largely circles around the vision shared by the group, which exclaims that 'imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were - but without it we go nowhere.'

On August 6th, the group will all be performing together at Dagdromen Festival. Their performance will take place in a bedouin tent that is titled - Fata Morgana. Set as the collective's debut release, Fata Morgana is the theme for their performance - a track exclusively designed for the stage. This is how everything came together and how the track's idea was born.

Receiving early support from artists such as Thugfucker, Blond:ish, H.O.S.H., Patrice Bäumel, Finnebassen, Adana Twins, Lehar, Theo Kottis, and more - Fata Morgana sets the tone for the second round of Ed Ed's well-received compilation series. Its one of those rare compilations where the selection is diverse, but equal in energy. This time around, Eclectic 02 is a 7 Track compilation - also featuring peak-time and after hours anthems by Night Talk, SPQH, Petja Virikko, Pammin, and contributions from label heads Freestyle Man and Ed Ed himself.

The compilation will be released August 19th via Moodmusic Records.

Named after an exotic South American bird, Nandoo kicks off with a subtle bassline and gradually blossoms into a string-heavy breezy cut, as playful as it is dynamic.

Label chief Oliver Koletzki amps up the exotic appeal, adding tribal vocals and eccentric yet organic-sounding elements, leading up to a tension-filled, dance-frenzy inducing break.

A natural for stirring melodies, Berlin-based @samshure channels his all-around manifold array of talents into his new EP, „Mirage“, taken from his forthcoming debut album „Laconia“ on @stilvortalent. Shure says: „“Mirage“ is a collaboration with my father who plays the Oud lines in it. I had the main groove of the track ready in my Berlin studio and felt like it needed some acoustic element. „Kamala Bani“ was the first collaboration with amazing producer Cioz. We had the most fun working together in the studio and really enjoyed making the track. The track „Encanto“ is for sure a nighttime track with a mystical atmosphere. Maximiliano R. aka Paht05, nace el 24 de octubre de 1983 en la ciudad de San Miguel, Provincia de Buenos Aires, desde su niñez cautivando por los sonidos latinoamericanos y folklóricos instalados por su padre (guitarrista de folklore), y por las corrientes Pop y Rock&Roll internacional que su madre le inculca desde muy pequeño, genera en el transcurso de su vida un gusto especial por la música en general, no es hasta la adultez que muestra un especial inclinación por el progreso y la evolución de los sonidos de forma digital, que desarrollan su exigencia selectiva de melodías, ritmos, contenidos hipnóticos y cautivantes, eso que lanza a relucir en cada una de sus sesiones y presentaciones.
Path 05 hace su aparición en la escena electrónica Trelewense a comienzos del 2019, con presentaciones en varios clubs y Pubs Trelew y Comodoro Rivadavia bajo el seudónimo de Makxim. su impronta como DJ es un sonido que oscila desde el Deep House hacia el Tech, generalmente transmite en sus sesiones vocals y resonancias melódicas oriundas de latinoamérica, la finalidad es preponderar la riqueza musical del continente y su idiosincrasia. Hace sus presentaciones en Trelew, bajo este perfil con su versatilidad característica, además como artista del género es miembro del proyecto musical a dúo denominado Homónimos, el cual integro con su colega G-Fer con el que realizarom sesions en la misma línea, pero ya con algunos destellos de Tech House y Dub Techno.
Cómo Makxim no solo conformaron el dueto Homónimos, sino que también junto al productor de multimedios TheRamish, conformaron la productora ErgoNoMetrica, creadora del programa radial TrelewElectrónica, que nace en 2019 en una Fm Local y le permite posicionar su impronta musical escena, donde actualmente se pueden escuchar los estilos de música que le apasiona, actualmente Path05 emprende un sendero  autónomo, pero sus primeros pasos en el inicio de su carrera queda plasmados, en los proyectos que dieron inicio a la productora ErgoNoMetrica y en Homonimos junto a su colega G-Fer.  Actualmente la productora ErgoNoMetrica posee la Website trelewelectronica.com.ar dónde quedan algunos de los primeros pasos de Phat05 bajo el Aka de Makxim.
