Am 14. Oktober 2014 bringen die beiden Solinger Arndt Roerig und Marko Vidovic ihre neue EP in den Handel. Unter ihrem bekannten Pseudonym - Tube & Berger - erscheint die Kollektion “Entourage” auf ihrem Heimatlabel – Kittball Records. Die Zusammenstellung umfasst drei Werke, die sie in Kollaborationen mit Ante Perry, Paji und In.deed kreiert haben. Mit uns sprachen die DJs und Musikproduzenten über die Entstehungsgeschichte zur EP, wieso sie nach Releasen auf Labels wie Suara, Defected oder FFRR wieder auf Kittball veröffentlichen und stellen ihren Song “Reliquia”, der mit dem Aachener Paji entstand, als Stream-Premiere vor.

Staying true to one's signature style, but at the same time re-inventing oneself again and again and again: A serious dilemma for many artists. However, it's not for Dole & Kom. Their Salto Mortale EP comes with three productions that are similar yet very different to each other in a fascinating way. The similarity is very sublime, as it seems like pressure and forward thrust evolve out of the context rather than prominent rhythms and sounds. Whereas the atmospheres of the tracks differ greatly. Salto Mortale is based on a voluminous bass line around which delirious melodies materialize from a vortex of sound. Silence comes with symphonic grace and big emotions. When the melancholic beauty of a female voice joins in the whole thing turns into pure epicness. Then again theres Fly Bar which draws its perfidious catchiness from a smart mix of high-octane club grooves and a high amount of sophisticated musicality. UYSR029 is the closing chapter of Remixes for Satori´s longplayer. Crussen from Norway kicks of with a pretty down beat mix of "Days Without You" which is pure fun for the morning hours. Amsterdam based Olaf Stuut instead did a driving mix of "The Wishing Spell" crossing borders between Techno and Electronica. Hraach from Spain put big emotions into his "Bad Looking Trouble" Remix - deep House with sensual strings. Last Mix is from Underyourskin Resident Thomas Atzmann who gave a very new danceable attitud to "The Greatest Against The World".

The Amsterdam-based collective https://soundcloud.com/weareinbetweenworlds present their track off the 2nd Volume of https://soundcloud.com/ededberlin's Eclectic compilation series on Moodmusic Records.

Involved in the Inbetween Worlds collective is Apotheque, Bold Moves, The Wolf Upstairs and Kimou - a group of friends who all share a passion for music. The intention of the project largely circles around the vision shared by the group, which exclaims that 'imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were - but without it we go nowhere.'

On August 6th, the group will all be performing together at Dagdromen Festival. Their performance will take place in a bedouin tent that is titled - Fata Morgana. Set as the collective's debut release, Fata Morgana is the theme for their performance - a track exclusively designed for the stage. This is how everything came together and how the track's idea was born.

Receiving early support from artists such as Thugfucker, Blond:ish, H.O.S.H., Patrice Bäumel, Finnebassen, Adana Twins, Lehar, Theo Kottis, and more - Fata Morgana sets the tone for the second round of Ed Ed's well-received compilation series. Its one of those rare compilations where the selection is diverse, but equal in energy. This time around, Eclectic 02 is a 7 Track compilation - also featuring peak-time and after hours anthems by Night Talk, SPQH, Petja Virikko, Pammin, and contributions from label heads Freestyle Man and Ed Ed himself.

The compilation will be released August 19th via Moodmusic Records.
