‘Yang’ is the latest solo endeavour from Reza Safinia, the Album draws on his deep interest in Eastern philosophy and his own spiritual practices to inspire a sound that marries the ethereal with a call to the dancefloor. This new album was written as the first global lockdowns were lifted. It follows on from Yin, which was composed at the start of the pandemic. Both albums reflect the energies of those different situations, and both were recorded at 432Hz - a tuning standard that is said to resonate with living beings and our chakras. The albums and their titles are inspired by the Chinese cosmology principle that everything consists of a balance of Yin and Yang. 
Yin is the pianos and strings, and Yang the electronic production elements. They have been conceived from meditation and a mindful presence in one's environment, with deep connections to humanity. Musically, the albums combine everything from electronica to downtempo, melodic house to techno. Importantly, Yang carries a sense of hope for human connection and lust for celebrating life.

George Yammine Born and raised in Denmark, moved to his parents’ native country of Lebanon where he furthered his education and became involved in the Lebanese Progressive House music scene. He learned the art of DJing and developed his sound engineering
skills. 

Luke Santos began his DJ career in South America, playing some of the biggest festivals there, including Love Parade in Chile. He had toured the world since then ending up in the new capital of electronic music of Amsterdam.

Pleasantly Painful fuses dreaminess and warmth, with tough darker punchier edges. A real beautiful yet intense workout that really packs a punch.

Ryan Davis is up first on remix duties, and his work has graced Traum and Mooseekaa to name but a few. His menacing rework takes you on a deep yet tough voyage and is set to maximum for dance floor devastation.

And to round things off, we find Argentina's Mariano Mellino, who's music has appeared on Sudbeat and Plattenbank amongst others. His deep infectious melodic journey is perfect for the feet while remaining for to the floor.

German and Polish talent combines across the borderless line of electronic music – Oovation and Yoachim join forces in a sonic collage that warms the soul with analogue beauty and haunting vocal lines as the duo "open it wide". A hypnotic arpeggio sequence slices through an urban soundscape, industrial in shape and arrangement; stark German architecture provides chance patterns of rhythmic mastery that loom large in solid concrete form. In "isolation", a musical trope entrances with simple majesty. A growling bass rises up in waves from below, the infinite shades of grey from cold inland water mesmerise as low frequency grows into powerfully filtered white noise, the waves crash against steel walls.

Carefully deconstructing sonic components, Rauschhaus reconstructs with laser precision into new aural form. Emotive and multi-faceted, stratified layers of sound emerge in skyscraper strength; foundations built upon the delicate strength of metronomic kick and percussive cadence. The 'key' to success is anchored in new vocal treatment and golden shimmering synth line. Cool Finnish authority combines analogue and synthetic in a brave new world, the bold sonic palette of Movement Machina 'opens wide', transforming the landscape around. Pulsating melodies converge in silky counterpoint while juxtaposed rasping bass rumbles across the horizon in distant menace. Repetitive vocal phrasing provides sonic identity caught on the breeze above the sprawling city below.

Looking down upon the city, everybody feels the same inside, joy and sorrow, pain and pleasure, strength in isolation opened up wide.
