Two friends bringing a mixture of sounds that goes along perfectly with their personality. When they perform together it doesn't only surprises the crowd but also themselves. Big or small it doesn't matter for these guys. They enjoy every set and you can see it from their faces. Joy all over the place with these two. 

Rue d'Alex is a resident for SUB in Amsterdam and produces together with Marckus (Chasing The Hihat). Their track ''Need To Know'' has gotten some big support and has over 35.000 plays. A new EP includes ''People'', another favorite from the crowd. 

Prosper Rek lives 6 months per year in Ibiza and the other 6 in Amsterdam. During the summer he is a resident for Blue Marlin in Ibiza and working on productions/edits. His edits of Anouk's ''Everything'' and Sting's ''Englishman In NY'' ft Franklin Reeves always work on the dance floor and are very popular at Blue Marlin.

Solid Steel (18th April) It's all about Record Store Day this week and we've asked some of the finest Independent record stores in the UK to contribute mixes in a 6 way Soundclash.
First up it's <a href="http://www.roughtrade.com/">Rough Trade</a> and DJ Bobafatt has mixed up a diverse selection suggested by Rough Trade staff, including RSD releases by Eric Lau, Grace Jones and LCD Soundsystem, plus music from Younghusband and Amazing Snakeheads who will be playing at Rough Trade East on the day.
Manchester's <a href="http://www.piccadillyrecords.com/counter/index.php">Piccadilly Records</a> are up next, represented by Kickin' Pigeon and continue with more quality selections from Ste Spandex, Begin and the sublime Monday Club/Tuesday Nite by Manchester's very own BE, plus the classic Twilight by Maze, Stalker and DBH.

Marko & Diaco are a DJ and producer duo from Stockholm, who have rapidly made a name for themselves on the Swedish club scene with their innovative style and big passion for Afro and Deep House. Coming from different musical backgrounds but united by a shared vision to create a unique atmosphere on the dance floor, they have established themselves as prominent figures at Stockholm’s trendiest venues and international events.
Their signature sound blends of rhythmic grooves and deep bass lines, combined with the atmospheric elements of the deep, created an irresistible fusion.
This duo is known for their dynamic and emotive quality DJ sets – every track is carefully selected to take the crowd on a journey, from deep, meditative soundscapes to energetic, rhythmic peaks. Our forthcoming release has been long in the making and it has been quite an adventure. As we move closer to its release date, the excitement is really hard to suppress - so rather than keeping it a secret any longer, we wanna celebrate this forthcoming release and invited in the main man behind the EP. Quatri, the young 20 year old talent with syrian roots, based in France has overwhelmed us with music since our first contact, beginning of this year. Since then lot's of discussions about music and changing tracks almost turned into a ritual leading up to our second Showcase in Berlin, where we invited this youngling in and it was great to have an amazing time together. 

It was the perfect inspiration for everyone involved, to finally bring this 6 months project to a finish. What we ended up with, is a 5-tracker Ep that will pretty much please everyone who adored the stuff we have put out yet. This session includes a good amount of said tracks and might even include some more of Quatri's music too! But you go ahead and listen for yourself - enjoy 60+ minutes of our beloved artist and already great friend. Here's to you, Ahmad!

This is my newest set. It's a slowed down journey through the misty woods in autumn. The tempo is a bit slower than usual, but I thought 114BPM describe the mood of a dusty and misty wood perfectly. So please enjoy "Misty Woods" :-)
