Solid Steel in association with Serato (24th April) This week we launch a brand new Solid Steel website at http://solidsteel.net and we're delighted to welcome back two guests Caribou and Colleen with exclusive new mixes to celebrate. They both appeared in the same show 10 years ago and on the new website you can hear their 2005 mixes in the Featured section, along with Caribou’s mix from 2000 when he was still known as Manitoba. Also released this week will be a mix from Matthew Herbert as Doctor Rockit (1995), Autechre mix (1997) and a Juan Atkins mix and interview from 1988, plus selected shows from the last 27 years and many more to come each week.
We even have new Solid Steel jingles for the first time in ages, and, over the coming weeks, you can hear what the likes of Luke Vibert, next week's guest Four Tet and FaltyDL (which starts the show this week) have come up with. 

And so to Caribou in Hour 1 this week and a mix, as always rich in quality music from across the years and around the world, including Rome Sithammarat, Melvin Ukachi , Percussions, Underground Resistance and Derrick May's Illusion First Mix of Sueno Latino. He had this to say about his mix;
"It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since my most recent Solid Steel mix (and even longer since my first one). A lot has happened in between then and now but even more has stayed the same - just like the mix 10 years ago, this one's made up of music old and new which I've come across recently - plus a couple favourites which I've been playing for a long long time."
