Hey everyone!

Today we're finally uploading our Sao Pauli Summer Mix that we recorded during our stay in Sao Paulo. In this Mix we wanted to catch the vibes of this wonderful and sunny city, where we had such a great time!

It wasn't our goal to create a DJ Set that represents our club oriented sound. Instead we wanted to reflect the good times and the music from our warm days and nights in Sao Paulo. 

The smooth and warm tunes are hopefully going to help everyone to survive the cold winter here in Europe and everywhere else around the world.

Superlounge, aka Alex Bach and Oliver Fritsche, put together a blistering mix for you, to celebrate their upcoming 'Ghost Of Time‘ EP release on Culprit. Expect deep, ambient but driving tunes with a pinch of melancholy.

Superlounge is next in line. The duo from Dusseldorf is producing music since they first came together in 2006 and is known for collaborations with Alex Niggemann on his Soulfooled imprint. Now they struck on their own on their first Culprit release and they went the whole songwriting route by recruiting two exceptional vocalists and lyricists to provide the special dimension to their compositions.

Jinadu, known for his collaborations with Jimpster, Christian Prommer and Frankey & Sandrino, lands contemplative lyrics to the title track. The second track 'Counting Days’ features the unique tone of Forrest, the London via Montreal- based artist who ​has become one of the most in­ demand guest vocalists in the genre. His vocal work and original productions have graced graced the who ­is ­who of underground dance labels, from Get Physical ​to Rebellion​, My Favorite Robot​ to Vakant​.

Dj, Producer and Liebe*Detail key artist Matthias Meyer hails from the quiet town of Lueneberg, near Hamburg, Germany. As a young, excited music lover, the hi-tech sounds of Detroit and Chicago spoke to Matthias, and encouraged him to seek the excitement and hustle of nearby Hamburg's diverse club scene. From here he let music take control, actively promoting this newfound scene in his local towns with the Sfunkt DJ collective, organising parties that would bring the electronic message to an otherwise dance-less area.

Together with the Sfunkt crew and his close friend and future production partner Patlac, Matthias began to play bigger and better venues, to more and more acclaim. His horizons began to broaden, and his production skills sharpened, seeing the release of his debut track, 'Reichenbach', on Hamburg's much-loved Liebe*Detail label in 2006. A tough and powerful, big-room bomb, Reichenbach summed up the Meyer's broad mixture of influences, from Detroit's technical wizardry to the musicality and experimentation of Germany's fresh faced electronic movement.

'Voltage', his second release was to follow with yet more hit potential, carrying a beautiful, resonating melody across a positively uplifting techno backdrop, but it was his release in the summer of 2008, 'Tout Va Bien,' that really defined Matthias Meyer's current musical direction. A long, meandering, deeply spaced percussive journey, full of intricate detail and raw, organic textures, the track received huge support and quickly brought the young musician's name even more into the light.

As the winter months of 2008 approached, and the buzz from 'Tout Va Bien' still worked its magic, Matthias collaborated with long-time friend and producer Patlac, creating another huge club moment entitled 'Skipper'. This was released on Liebe*Detail's 'Spezial' offshoot label, along with the equally moving track 'Salt City', to yet more praise. It seems these two projects really summed up Matthias' inner love not only for serious grooves, but real drama in his music. These are tracks full of uplifting, positive sentiments, painstakingly designed so that their sound and message comes through as clear as possible.

Matthias has broken through into spotlight thanks to his uniquely passionate take on the house and techno genres. His love of rich, energetic club music full of texture, life and heart propels him to work more and more. His work as a Dj allows him to bring this very human, endearing quality to an increasingly large audience.

In his eyes, the great joy of Djing house music is that, unlike in so many other scenes, he doesnt need to play pop hits to get dancefloor recognition. Instead, he can spin a long tale of rolling grooves and evolving, emotive musical stories that provoke a different, inner relationship between DJ and dancer.

Sie zerrinnt sekündlich und man hat nie genug, dennoch ist sie unendlich... die Zeit. Sie wird einem gegeben und genommen, dreht sich im Kreis und läuft doch immer vorwärts, ist im selben Moment unerträglich lang und verfliegt viel zu schnell. Sie bestimmt unser Leben und ist doch ein mysteriöses Ding. Oder hättet ihr gedacht, dass das Leben von Kleopatra zeitlich näher an der Mondlandung als am Bau der Großen Pyramide von Gizeh lag. Die Zeit spielt mit unserem Verstand, obwohl sie doch eigentlich eine objektive Größe ist.

Berühmte Physiker haben versucht ihr innerstes Wesen zu ergründen und haben so die wahre Komplexität eines Gebildes hervorgebracht, was doch augenscheinlich so einfach ist. Ich zähle bis 60 und weiß, dass überall eine Minute vergangen ist. Leider entspricht das nicht nur subjektiv, sondern auch objektiv physikalisch nicht der Wahrheit. Die Zeit bleibt schwer zu fassen, obwohl sie doch eigentlich messbar ist. Aber gerade dieser Umstand macht sie für jeden von uns so unglaublich kostbar. So können Momente endlos erscheinen und ein einstündiges DJ Set zu einer langen wertvollen Reise für den Geist werden.

Freut euch mit uns auf die deep story von Tube und Berger, welche alle physikalischen Gesetze überschreitet und die Zeit für einen Moment außer Kraft setzen wird.
