Belgian producer Phil Monday returns to the house and techno scene with his latest release, ‘Back To The Island.' The 4-track EP is a culmination of Phil Monday's original songs and remixes by fellow producers Nico P and Heckman, crafting a dynamic and hypnotic kaleidoscope of electronic colors.

Opening the EP is the title track ‘Back To The Island,' a psychedelic melodic house and techno creation, that embodies layers of electronic synthesizers and dark rhythms. From sweeping synths to plucked riffs and deep sub-bass, ‘Back To The Island' comes to life with its energetic textures and brooding atmosphere. Moments of dissonance create captivating tension, a chaotic and frantic intensity that blurs the lines between reality and fantasy. The hypnotic presence of the track is a stirring result that paves the way for the EP's remixes.

DHB artist, Nico P, takes hold of ‘Back To The Island' with his afro house style, threading a constant pulse throughout. Built on the foundation of drums, the remix introduces dancing synth rhythms and a bass line that rarely pauses to form the backdrop of this soundscape. Clever use of panning establishes a spatial awareness, making the bass line a more prominent feature than the original. The plucked synth becomes a wild frenzy of shadows and textures, choosing moments of space to provide a sense of release, before the full force of instrumentation strikes again.

DJ and producer, Heckman, remains in Phil Monday's original genre of house and techno, with four to the floor beats and a shaker that guides the groove. The blipping synths set the pulse at a carefree pace. Embracing melodic house, Heckman brings lighter energy to ‘Back To The Island', with alternating chords that underline the consistent rhythm. The standout melodic hook of Monday's original composition makes its entrance while the drums fall away, relying on the pulsing synth to steer the rhythm. A crescendo builds, only to follow with an impactful drop that upholds its trance-like characteristics.

‘Bloom' is Phil Monday's second original track on the EP, and as the name suggests, there's a blossoming to this soundscape. Perhaps less ominous than ‘Back To The Island,' this track uses organic house production to generate ambiance. The dream-like quality has euphoric moments through its expressive house beats and texturized synths with an array of synth sounds. The mesmerizing landscape of ‘Bloom' has a magnetic pull that entices the listener.

Blending together the sub-genres of house music, the ‘Back To The Island' EP has a mind of its own, leading listeners down a rabbit hole of compositions, that showcase each producer's interpretation in a way that is completely unique and spellbinding.

Establishing your own DJ agency was a logical consequence of further developing talented DJs who worked for us.

We now have around 20 talented artists under our agency in different genres: deep house, tech house, techno and progressive.

Meanwhile, we have more than 30,000 followers on Facebook and we get a lot of positive feedback from national and international artists and we hope to keep on growing...
