The eleventh edition of the microcastle podcast welcomes label artist Brian Cid. The NYC based producer is coming off his third project for us entitled 'Pluto'. Released earlier this month, the four track EP featured three organic, groovy and sonically distinctive creations, along with a magical 12 minute remix from Marvin & Guy. The project earned play and support from DJ Tennis, Ame, Damian Lazarus, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Gardens Of God and more; while reaching #1, #2 and #3 in Indie Dance, Electronica, Progressive House and Deep House respectively.

For the eleventh edition of our podcast we've chosen a live show of Brian's from a recent gig at the Endangered Warehouse event in Miami during WMC. Wer braust denn da durch Sturm und Wind? Ich bin es, der Nachtmahr auf dem Weg zu deinem Kind.

Zur Geisterstunde löse ich meine Fesseln, ihr seid meine Opfer, liegt unschuldig schlafend in euren Sesseln. Ich such dich heim, schlüpf behände in deinen Kopf hinein. Dort habe ich eine Menge Spaß, verdreh deinen Traum zu einer Albtraum-fahrt. 
Deine Ohren werden lang gezogen, ich drücke dich mit meinen kalten Fingern zu Boden. Dein schönstes Kleid wird zerrissen, schreiend versteckst du dich in deinem Kissen. Stundenlang wirst du gepiesackt, geneckt und gequält, die Sonne geht auf, so ein Mist, meine letzten Minuten sind gezählt.
Doch es ist erst vorbei wenn dein Wecker schreit, er läutet mir die Abfahrtszeit.

Adam Husa’s electric and eccentric world pensively balances dark and light tones, invoking distinctly deep frequencies. His focus is on casting sonic pathways for listeners to accompany him in getting lost. With productions supported by Dixon, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Be Svendsen, Tone Depth & more, we’re well on his way.

Adam’s songs have surfaced on fittingly named labels like Magician on Duty, Dream Culture and L’Enfant Terrible, among others. A regular fixture of East Coast festivals (Piknic Electronik, Eclipse, Summerdaze, AIM, Igloofest, Liberty…), his wanderings have also leaded to performances in LA, Paris, Cairo, Istanbul, Vancouver, NY, Burning Man…

For six years, his impact on the Montreal scene has solidified with the growth of Husa Sounds. This electronic music collective and blog is dedicated to curating and nurturing underground artistic experiences, whether intimate local showcases or multidisciplinary raves in abandoned venues - among which a boarding school and a church. Husa Sounds has collaborated with Be-At.TV as well as summoned a steady steam of celestial deep house artists, from Jon Talabot to Miyagi, SuperFlu to Oona Dahl.

'Noted for his versatility and musical range, Philip attributes much of his influences to his Middle Eastern heritage and western upbringing. Known for his unmistakable sound, Philip's DJ sets and productions are rich with groovy hypnotic melodies and driving basslines. In his young years, Philip played percussion with his brother Julien and some high school mates, performing as musical act Elemental. Much of Philip's early nightlife experience began in the late 90s toward the end of high school, in Montreal at Sona and Redlite. Over the years, he began working more frequently in the studio on original productions and remixes, and further developed his audio engineering skills. A few of Philip's early studio mentors are Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Habersham, and Darin Epsilon to name a few.

After finishing his university, Philip moved to Miami in 2005 and after to relocated to Belgium and Holland. While staying in Europe, Philip promoted his sound at festivals like the Amsterdam Dance Event and Tomorrowland.

In 2012, Philip returned to Miami. While in Miami Philip had the opportunity to play in distinguished clubs like Vagabond and Nikki and enjoyed residencies at TSL Lounge, Treehouse, Do Not Sit on the Furniture, among others. Chedid performed with some of the world's most celebrated artists from all dance music genres, such as Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Dave Seaman, Eelke Kleijn, Marc Marzenit, Guy Mantzur, Sahar Z, Darin Epsilon, Clarian, Einmusik, Omid 16B, SIS, Thomas Schumacher, Birds of Mind, Armen Miran, Bedouin, Vanilla Ace, H-Foundation, Jody Wisternoff, Danny Howells, Miyagi, Jozif, Of Norway, Mikey Lion, Tara Brooks, Flavio Navarro, Zach Walker, Jonathan Will, Derek Hena, Aninha, among others.

In the Spring of 2014, Philip released "Remaindermen" on Sound Avenue's "We are the Future" spring compilation. His Spring 2016 Bayti EP on Crossfade sounds received solid support and recommendations from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, among others. His 2016 collab with Darin Epsilon 'Endless Sands of Time' [Parquet] received stellar reviews by Deep House Amsterdam, among other noted publishers. Over the next couple years, the releases have been coming more anand in 2017 Philip formed the imprint Endless Sands of Time. Now residing in Los Angeles, Philip continues to work on his craft and is recognized as a up and coming artist with much potential in the underground scene.
