X Dream should be probably my favourite Goa Trance or Psychedelic Trance or you name it Trance band. In my opinion they created truly timeless music that is completely their own, and this 'X Dream' sound, inspired so many artists, your humble servant is one of them. So I took the liberty to fiddle around with one of their finest and most gentle creations, I changed very little and used the original sounds whenever I had the chance. The only main difference is in the main break of the track.

3 QUESTIONS to RON FLATTER:

Q: Your mix is full of storytellers. Do you still remember the first records you bought once?

A: Unfortunately I don´t remember the name of my first record but it was from the record story called Bongofishrecordstore in my hometown Halle and I bought 2 Acid Techno vinyls.

Q: You´re in the business about 20 years yet. What do you think did change most during this time?

A: Hair and clothes changed the most. Only Techno stayed the same. Nowadays everything feels so much faster but that isn´t bad at all. I´m not the „everything was better before“ guy. I´m happy to see things developing and I´m always curious what´s happening next. 

Q: We´ve heard there is a new album coming next year. Are there any more details to talk about yet?

A: I really can´t wait to have this one out. The name of the album will be „Muscle Of Synths“ and will contain 10 tracks. It´s a dancefloor album. I just received the mastered files, so I´m really looking forward to March/April 2018.

Born and raised in the city of Istanbul, Carla Frayman aka ‘Carlita’ is a DJ and producer on the rise, who is mixing and producing diverse sounds and rhythms from cultures across the world. If you asked her what type of genre she produces and DJ’s within world music, she would have a tough time describing it since she gathers and creates music from all corners of planet earth. She draws on downtempo and electronic middle eastern music to Afro-beat and obscure Latin music. Blending these different cultures of music together, she creates a globally sonic journey for the listener.
