"Six Years Lost“ will be presented in two parts: The first instalment will include six marvellous original tracks courtesy of our our residents and label artists: DJ Aroma, Iorie, Kuriose Naturale, Madmotormiquel, Mario Aureo & Manuel Moreno and Patryk Molinari. We wanted every track to be special as it’s not only the club anniversary, but also the 2nd birthday of our lovely label! Today we feel so proud to look back on what has already been accomplished and are equally as excited for what the future will bring!

Das Ritter Butzke Jubiläum „Six Years Lost“ verlangt nach einer standesgemäßen Compilation. Gesagt – getan: Hier kommt der erste Teil mit sechs großartigen Originalen! Beigesteuert haben diese einige unserer Residents und Label-Künstler: DJ Aroma, Iorie, Kuriose Naturale, Madmotormiquel, Mario Aureo & Manuel Moreno und Patryk Molinari. Sicher wäre jeder einzelne Track ein eigenes Release wert gewesen, aber was soll der Geiz? Zur Feier des Tages packen wir sie allesamt auf unsere Geburtstags-Compilation und gönnen sie uns alle auf einmal! Schließlich ist das Club-Jubiläum nicht der einzige Grund zum Feiern – gleichzeitig ist es auch der zweite Geburtstag unseres Labels. Sophisticated minimalism was always a core feat of ALEX UNDER's portfolio, with the Spanish producer also serving as the founder and label manager for much-acclaimed techno label CMYK Musik. After releases on iconic imprints such as Trapez, Soma or Plus 8, the Madrilenian - one of the most sought-after electronic artists in Spain - now presents OLAS DE QUILA QUINA, his very first outing for Kompakt. Three slick, enticing cuts show him comitted to rolling basslines, rising synths and snappy percussion, all embedded in the futuristic sound design Alex has been honing over the course of his career. Unfolding to the backdrop of brooding metallic drones, the title track only needs a handful of carefully processed sounds to tell a highly evocative story - a focussed, geometrical jam that nonetheless allows for freewheeling outbursts of creativity. Following his ambient LP "The Evening Falls" on Kompakt, Kenneth James Gibson is set to release his most realized dance floor full length under the [a]pendics.shuffle moniker, "Aware Sequence Found Life"

In just under an hour [a]pendics.shuffle listeners on a spiritual psychedelic head fuck spanning an array of deep house, techno, ambient, experimental, and even a moment of synth laden acidic jazz. Although there have been many singles, EPs, remixes, and various collaborations in the last few years with artists such as Mikael Stavostand, Mr. C, Blakkat, Douglas J. McCarthy, and Dilo, this will be the first [a]pendics.shuffle full length album in 11 years.

La Fraicheur - The New Is Not Born Yet (Soukie & Windish Remix)

The Do Not Sit on the Furniture label returns with more of its cultural and adventurous house music, this time courtesy of Modd. The Russian duo hail from Volgograd and have released on the likes of Anjunadeep and All Day I Dream, so are well known as fine and emotive musical craftsmen. 

Opener Flying Buddha is a spine tingling number with deep, warm drums overlaid with majestic keys and chords. It's a real trip into melancholic moods and is the sort of lush track that sinks you into a reverie. 

The excellent Vishaya is next up and has harder hitting kicks and metallic percussion, but the sustained and thoughtful piano chords and rolling groove overall still serve to take you far away from everyday life. 

Last of all is the beautiful Retba, with more mind melting pads and organic xylophone melodies filling up the space above the drums with real emotion. 

This is a fantastic EP that brings plenty of class to deep house.
