These two songs began life as completely separate ideas.

As my own personal story evolved, the songs grew intertwined, counterbalancing and feeding off each other, until I knew they had to be released as one.

Their shared story is woven together so tightly that any other way of releasing them would feel incorrect.

6A63 / ICY WHITE is best taken in as a dream, or a sonic dreamscape.

6A63 is a sensation folding in on itself, its moving parts on different timetables but ultimately in sync.

Stark moments of danger and friction present themselves, only to be resolved benevolently.

With a deliberate pump-fake on the handover, ICY WHITE is a shock to the system, raw and punchy and replete with details, affecting the sonic gestalt.

Holding the momentum until it surrenders itself to the coda, the energy of ICY WHITE is swallowed by a lone piano, giving way to a falling sensation.

The song ends.

The dream is over.

In a not too distant future Deep Scan Technologies, a once high functioning enterprise at the forefront of computer tech descends into worn-torn collapse. With their signature product the Deep Scan SSD being shipped out with a mysterious defect that left the masses with a security vulnerability. Data and information lost its value spiralling the world into economic collapse. A few scientists at the Deep Scan Technologies team remain and try to pick up the pieces of a world forgotten. A prototype for the Solid State Drive 2 is found by cyborg scouring the wasteland for remains. The relic taken back to a secure Deep Scan lab deep underground. These are the results of the analysation.
