Picture a gin with tonic, Bonny and Clyde, chips with ketchup - perfect matches. Now picture the next perfect match, Kyrill (@karlkyrill) & Redford (@lukeredford) (@kyrillredford)

As soon as the two guys, both from Zurich met they were a perfect team. And because we all know things are more fun when done together, they combined their talents to become a DJ Duo. What binds them together is their strong love of good music. As simple as it may sound, it's true. Good music that doesn't know genres or labels, but has this craving for more. Music that gives you Goosebumps. That feeling that a track should never come to an end.

As a joined force, their music is best described as a soundtrack to an endless road trip, in a red convertible, down HWY 1: dry bass lines, epic synths and driving drums. Without hesitation, they grab whatever inspiration they can get from all the genres around. Building their tracks the way they want them to be, instead of trying to reproduce whatever is in at the moment. Music made for the main-time is the credo. Always looking for that perfect feeling, those Goosebumps, the wish for no ending. This message is underlined by their Dj sets where they take the crowd onto a journey through the main-time but never to the mainstream.

With releases on Burlesque Musique, Stranjjur, Light my Fire and Erase Records, Kyrill & Redford are destined for big things and have laid down the first stepping-stones on their way to a blooming career. Their remix of the Jefferson Airplane classic "Somebody to love" was loved in the local scene and became a proper hit. They released the track with Burlesque Musique and thanks to their success, their name is now known across the country/world.

What an amazing 3 days we had all together during the 2018 Regional Sicilian Burning Man event in the north of Sicily Island right on the beach. This is my 2nd set and it was performed during Saturday Burning Night. Musical journey starting with world ethnic electronic and followed by progressive house music, techno and oriental tech. Enjoy it as I enjoyed this performance.

Once upon a time, there was a party at the lovely Spot Cosy Hostel in Cluj... a party that nobody knows, but where everybody goes...
The Hostel became my second home over the last years, when in Cluj. I think I slept in every possible room there and felt always like home . It's located in an old Vila near downtown with a fantastic garden in the backyard. The guys behind it, also hippie - at least in their hearts, are close friends of mine. Even more, I felt grateful when they asked me if I would come and play at a party they wanted to throw in the Hostel. It was so much fun playing for - and partying with- all the old & new friends.
Thanks a lot to the Hostel Crew for having me- once again and the wonderful crowd for that never ending energy <3
