Step into a moonlit river of sound. Session XIX — Lanterns Over the Water drifts through the heart of Japan’s shrine and lantern traditions, weaving non‐lexical shrine chorus hums, shakuhachi sighs, koto glissandi, and taiko heartbeat pulses into a deep, meditative lounge journey.
Inspired by Kyoto’s Gion nights, coastal lantern festivals, and the still elegance of Shinto shrine waters, this session captures a ritual calm where fireflies, incense smoke, and floating lights move as one.

I have waited so long for this and now my dream has become true: Sade herself and Sony UK finally gave their okay to my secret edit so it is out now as an official Sade release on Get Physical // Poesie Musik and hits the stores on jan 16th 2015.

Poesie Musik has the very special honor to announce the release of a remix of a song known the world over, authored by no less than Sade. One of the prolific singer's most well-known creations, ‚Pearls‘ is given a deluxe makeover by German dance floor mainstay Timo Jahns, whose moody, melancholy personal sound fits perfectly with the sultry vocals on one of the crooner's most moving songs. 

Hailing from Göttingen, Timo Jahns has carved out a name for himself on the German party circuit thanks in part to an endless list of edited music and remixes on labels like Ponsactrilau, Underyourskin Records, Neverending, Cometomusic, Klang Gymnastik and 9Volt, as well as his own imprint FREUNDCHEN RECORDS, created for an intimate circle of few. 

This latest foray into the reworking of certain melodic masterpieces comes after Timo’s remixes of music by the likes of songstress Melody Gardot and Bon Iver just last year. For this special rendition of ‚Pearls‘, the producer has carefully lead the tune into deep-house terrains and turned it into a track just begging for summer afternoons and thoughtful chill-out sessions.
