Filth on Acid builds on its already strong 2019 for with a new and powerful EP from Metodi Hristov who serves up three dynamite tracks. The Bulgarian is making huge waves in a short space of time with a dark and rugged style that he showcases again here.

Awaken is first out of the blocks with laser synths and driving drums. The atmosphere is stark and futuristic and it’s a track that will blow up any warehouse. Completely features Juliet Fox and is stripped back, with low riding bass and spooky little vocals layered into the groove. Insight then slithers along on an icy hi hat line, with frazzled bass stabs adding energy and synth builds taking you to the next level.

This is powerful club music for one of the finest labels of the day.
