The outstanding Spanish duet WO-CORE is back at Uxoa Dutxa Elite after their successful debut with their EP Andalucia released a few weeks ago. On this occasion they present a beautiful single with their unique style in Melodic Techno titled Brujo featuring Violeta Reynal on vocals with 3 impressive remixes by Algebra, Di Rugerio and Messier.

Brujo's original track begins with an aggressive bassline accompanied by an energetic drums totally focused on the dance floor with an enigmatic atmosphere between slightly arpeggiated and enveloping synth sequences that take you to an elevated and ethereal state of mind where a beautiful female voice will be implanted in you to continue with the lively rhythm and the other sound elements until the end.

The Brazilian duet Algebra performs the first remix, marking from the beginning their perspective of Melodic Techno with a more catchy bassline maintaining the original sequence with a more abstract and deep rhythm, handling in an excellent way the vibes with the synthesizers and the voices in a hypnotic way. .

The label head Di Rugerio performs the second remix, starting with a powerful kick drum and an overly danceable bassline with playful hihats that make the accompaniment, keeping the original sequence in the same way in the background, Di Rugerio gives a progressive and energetic touch to the track making an incredible balance with new melodic elements with synth riffs and robotic effects on the voice resulting in a supreme remix.

And to close this sonic journey we have the talented producer Messier with the third remix of Brujo starting with a powerful kickdrum and a very well balanced drums with new sequences that make an excellent combination with the bassline making it more dynamic than the previous ones, while the vocal arises unexpectedly in a very hypnotizing way, taking you to an extensive but fabulous atmospheric break that will lift your spirits when you reach the climax, exploding your emotions to the limit.

Without a doubt, an EP that brings together extraordinary exponents of world-class Melodic Techno with exceptional versions by Brujo.

Constantly reimagining the way they make noise, the Brigado Crew have experimented endlessly to construct this retro-super-futuristic dynamo.

Channeling the groundswell of optimism from the ‘good old days,’ the Brigado Crew work all kinds of collaborative miracles, using modern production techniques to lend the album some depth and tension.

From the live studio recordings made on original 80’s synthesizers to the myriad of feature artists, ‘Symbiosis’ takes a broad brush to the sonic palette.

The ephemerally haunted vocals of Jessica Zese soar over post-disco grooves in the opening track ‘Calamity’. The softly-focused synths of this cut are a balm to the propulsive, industrial heartbeat of the album.

Always upping the ante is Ubbah, who serves up his signature deep, dark techno vibes in many of the album’s peak-time cuts.

More than Human and Haptic embody futurism with a nod to 80’s acid rave, the alienesque vocals of Haptic floating through ‘Voids of Space,’ a cut which is just gagging to be played out on a really loud sound system.

You’ll be leaning into the cascading percussive shakedowns and diving deep into the chant-along lyrics of esteemed British producer & vocalist Thomas Gandey in ‘Find You’, a totally Shazamable cut.

Another secret weapon in your arsenal of dance-floor ready bangers is ‘Face the Music’. Featuring the anthemic vocals of Aves Volare, this cut commands movement, its tremulous basslines creating a sensation of motion that shimmers in the air.

8kays delivers a convincingly hard edge to ‘Robotic Destination’, a hot-blooded, club-focused track that gets all up in your face.

Dipping in and out of post-post-modernism, while reaching far into the great beyond, ‘Symbiosis’ ordains the Brigado Crew as the patron saints of future-forward throwbacks.

Chappier is the newest bet of Hiato Music, debuting on the label with “Ravina” EP. His music has been showing consistency and a particular style of building atmospheric nuances, winning looks around the world.

The track that gives the EP its name has a dense groove, showing its power in its first seconds. The off-time arpeggios cause hypnotism until the break, when Chappier uses the beauty of timbres that pass through the stereo until reaching its peak, surprising the listener with constant and unexpected transpositions.

"Resurge" brings a touch of introspection to the EP with a slow and obscure progression. The nuances in the Bassline show the melodic beauty in perfect harmony with atmospheric Plucks, completing all its harmonic construction.

“Celeste” starts with pressure and dark ambiences, as if by magic, the leads start to reverberate in all corners of Spectrum revealing a striking and hypnotic melody. The break brings the beauty of clean tones, preparing for a powerful and emotional drop.

In “Acallam”, Chapper shows why it caught the attention of the greats, with a striking percussion it initiates an unique song. Its harmony takes shape in a outstanding melody transporting the listener to a dark environment surrounded by crystalline timbres, guiding all your senses towards the light.

The latest release on Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Jickow to the label for his debut EP. As a highly regarded DJ, Jickow began his journey in the South of France before going on to delight crowds at Kater Holzig (Berlin), Rachdingue (Catalonia) and Jesus Club (Saint Petersburg). Eventually settling in Belgium, Jickow became a primary figure in the country's nightlife, sharing the booth with international talents such as Oxia, Lee Van Dowski, Pleasurekraft, Olivier Huntemann, Anthony Rother and Marc Houle. As a producer, JIckow takes the quality of quantity approach, taking time to perfect his craft and choosing his projects wisely, with Beatfreak, Frequenza and Pursuit being landing spots for his fresh take on melodic house and techno. Now following a project for Deep House Belgium, Jickow steps up to Movement Recordings for his debut EP 'Run and Jump' alongside a remix from Gelassenheit.

Beginning with 'Jumping in the Sand' Jickow delivers one of his best productions to date. Led by a punchy groove, pulsating rhythms and astral stabs, its ethereal nature proves to be quite compelling. Dark and mysterious across the first act, it's flair for the dramatic grows, with an emotive break that elevates mood and tension, before getting washed away in a rush of beats and percussion for a heady finale.

Also making their label debut and providing the lone interpretation of 'Jumping in the Sand' is Gelassenheit. Based in Australia and making up the Gelassenheit duo are Max and Netanel. Founders of the nightlife brand Dopamine Collective, the Aussie duo are not only regulars on the country's club circuit but also lay claim to a short but meticulous discography, highlighted by releases on Interfonic, Love Matters and Soleid. Now making their Movement Recordings debut, Gelassenheit provides an inspired take on 'Jumping in the Sand'. Electrically charged with punchy beats and a looser take on the groove, it's energetic prowess beams brightly from the outset. Combining dynamic rhythms with crisp percussion and emotive chord changes makes for a sleek yet poignant first act. Playful arps and timely modulation heighten the senses leading into the main break. Grandiose and dramatic in equal measure, haunting vocal pads and warm bass swells highlight the centrepiece, paving the way for a broken beat section and smooth energy bridge into a moving finale.

Rounding out the release are 'Running Egg' and 'Sweet Sadness' which find Jickow exploring more astral techno narratives. The former delights with its minimalistic design, rippling groove and cosmic artefacts. Sitting as an ideal complement to its predecessor, a heady first act preludes a dramatic break, where buzzing lines and gaseous effects take centerstage, before a rush of noise ushers in a charged finale. Meanwhile, 'Sweet Sadness' comes in more muscular and robust with an undulating groove, striking arps and a mystical vocal narrative which highlights a cavernous break. It rounds out a superb Movement Recordings debut for Jickow, who is most certainly operating at a creative peak here.
