Two of our favourite things at lempuyang HQ are deep techno and curry. As one of Glasgow's best exports in recent years, Chris covers both bases. He also happens to be a shithot (geddit?!) DJ and producer. Chris first came to our attention after his contributions to the always excellent OHM Series label, and he was subsequently invited onto our annual 'Pura' V/A compilation, comfortably holding his own against heavyweights such as Hydergine, W-Moon & Merv.

In addition to the above, you'll also find Chris loitering in the rosters of Mixcult, Greyscale, and we highly recommend picking up the excellent Sons of San release on Verdant.

For our 9th mix of the series we turn the spotlight to one of our favourite labels of the last few years, Australia's finest - Primary [colours]

Primary Colours was founded in a pub over an IPA in 2012 (The Perfect place to form a label, in our opinion) and is the brainchild of Lance Harrison and Mark Baumann, aka Echo Inspectors. 

Over the last few years the label has gone from strength to strength and really carved out a unique sound amongst the Deep and Dub Techno Community. They showcase some of the top artists from around as well as bringing to the fore some of Australia's best talents. 

As with all our In:Focus mixes the challenge is to highlight the breadth and diversity of the label in question. It is by no means a 'greatest hits' and there is so much amazing music on this label that we didn't manage to include in this mix but we urge you to check out if you haven't already.

For the 326th instalment in the series, we give a warm welcome to OHM, aka Bjarnar Jonsson, an Icelandic-born DJ/producer now based in Copenhagen, who presents a deep, dubby, and brilliant mix that entices and captivates, gently ushering in another summer weekend.

OHM has been a dedicated force in the techno scene for nearly three decades. With a deep understanding of the craft, he blends deep, dub, and hypnotically meditative techno, creating a signature sound that resonates with purists and innovators alike.

Deep Breakfast 326 ~ OHM

As summer's warmth dissolves into the autumn breeze and the silence of shorter days descends, we're honored to welcome BLNDR to the series, sharing a mix that's a sonic companion for the season's transition.

BLNDR is a French electronic music producer based in Paris.
Deep beats, percussions, and atmospheric elements have always been central to his sound. He took his first steps into electronic music with the release of his debut EP on Hypnus Records in 2014.

With the colours of autumn coming alive and the first morning mists rolling in, we're delighted to introduce the latest Deep Breakfast mix, carefully curated by the talented Vidění.

Vidění is a project in constant search for sounds that create mental, hypnotic, deep and ambient constructions. Inspired by unconventional rhythmic structures in which light, darkness, tension, organic elements and an infinity of emotions coexist.

Cousin Silas has been producing music, both electronically and acoustically for a very long time, and he also is one of the biggest champions of other producers, inspiring many collaborations and projects, primarily through his Cousin Silas Emporium. PERSPEKTIVES

Music sets our mood, giving us hope, happiness, strength, and that from all different kind of perspectives and minds. We feel and experience every sound different and connect it with our emotions, that develops to great memories. I start with a podcast serie that calls perspectives, as the sound of my sets can be totally open minded and holding all emotions, and I believe with every melody/ note/ percussion there is an emotion connected to. This is a non commercial podcast serie, and is totally based on connection and sharing understandable communication through music.
