Hi!
I am an electronic musician. I started out as a DJ in my early teens. After moving out of the city I started being more serious about my own music.
Looking back at it now, it was a disaster. Not only was
my music bad, but the relationships were also a wreck. I should have been more serious. But I managed to establish quite a team now of artists, producers, mixers and musicians.
Looking back again at my relationship it gave me fundamentals on how not to work with the people and what not to say and most importantly what not to promise in order to not make a living hell out of the thing we enjoy doing most - making music.
Very important stepping stone before I started doing soundtracks for media working with very very creative people who already have their work defined and know exactly what they want.
I havent lost my interest in dance music for a bit though. Actually I believe now that this move to try myself in other genres 
was the right move and even my techno and house music got better as a result of it. 
So I suggest to everyone who wants to become better with music making programs, open a blank project and just do some cheesy
EDM with big drops, snarly melodies and absolutely over the top synth stabs. Or invite a friend guitar player who jams at home and try and make a rock song. Its all there in your Ableton/Logic to make it happen.
sure, you will be laughing at the results probably, but it will give you an important experience and it will make you a better musician at the end of the day.

I have just finished a remix for Asphalt Layer (Dusk Dubs, Hello Strange), and it will come out on the new established DUBR - dubby house techno label part of LUVR project. the label is situated in South Africa and is runned by Sheervaan Bergsteedt from the great Just Move Records - check them out.

Poisonoise Music - Guest Mix - EPISODE 22 - SUBSTITUENT

The 17th episode of @CultKitchen Radio Show at Megapolis 89'5 FM (Moscow) and our new guest – @lenzyak-yaroslav. His music career started in his hometown of Nova Kakhovka. He was raised on a diet of classic house and techno with music education received in young years which played its role in the production skills. Now, he is actively touring in Ukraine and beyond performing with well-known names of the underground party-world of Europe.

Yaroslav is a unique and nicely mad DJ and producer. Thanks to his desire and ability to experiment with sounds, we hear a symbiosis of styles in his works. His tracks and remixes are regularly chosen for many compilations and get the support of famous DJs around the whole world. For CultKitchen, he recorded an ambient podcast in the best traditions of the genre.

He mixed his album Back to Essence that was released on March 20th 2020.  A collection of  found dubtechno jams. So enjoy!

Bio:
Emanuele Pertoldi was born in a small village in the North East of Italy where he still lives. Since he was a child he had a strong passion for music and it became stronger and stronger. He took a degree in Modern Music - Music Production in Bologna.
 Sound research, passion, creativity and emotions are the key elements of his tracks. 
He founded Evasion Room Records with Riccardo D'Agostini in 2011 and Evasion Room Live with Riccardo, Daniele and Andrea, a live based on improvisations only with hardware machines and synths. With Andrea only, they produce and perform as Tripsolate & Redundænt.
Some solo productions came out as Redundænt too, including an album on Ovunqve.

In 2013 he started a new alias, Shaded Explorer, with the aim to represent himself in a more intimate way. The description of the project says he lives in a place where the music is hidden behind a dense fog and dreams are suffocated by an unpromising reality. This stimulates him to continue his research of magical places around the world, being them ethereal landscapes, deep cenotes or blue seas. In those places he discovered and created new sounds, melodies and rhythms that melted together create soundscapes for escape.
The first release was an album on Eclipsemusic that was also played live with hardware at Club To Club in Turin, following live sets also at Tresor, Le Batofar and more.
In 2014 he founded his own intimate imprint Shaded Explorations.
Now he's one of the great masks of ambient music and deep sounds, especially after the releases on Silent Season and Kabalion Records.

He is also half of Mørk, with his Berlin based friend Devincenti Francesco. The project is focused on hardware only live acts too. They also launched Doble Bilder, a vinyl record label to release their own music without compromises.

Another new project is Mykja, were Emanuele and Christian Pevere share their passion for synths and nature, merging together their different experiences into something genuine and spontaneous.

With his projects, he played at Tresor.Berlin (DE), Le Batofar (FR), The Frag (ITA), Vicious Club (ITA), Fiese Remise (DE), Griessmuehle (DE), Tribal Club (UK), Sala X (SPA), BHo! (ITA), and other parties, clubs and festivals like Club 2 Club, iClaut, Homepage, One Eyed Jack, Thursdaydeep, etc.
