Ambient Sessions # 90 - Paranoid Soul

Please welcome Ivelin Iliev aka Protuberance into the Mix!

Behind the project "Protuberance" is Ivelin Iliev - a producer and DJ from Bulgaria. He found out about electronic music for the first time in the mid-1990s when he first heard Prodigy. In the beginning of the new century, he began organizing underground techno parties with friends. In parallel, he started producing his own music. In 2010, he bought the necessary equipment and maked his own studio. Since then, there have been 4 albums released, one of which is on a CD for the oldest net label in Bulgaria for experimental electronic music Mahorka. His name appears in the dub techno combinations of Cold fiction - Future [e] cho. He also released his own music for various small independent labels.@protuberance
As a producer, he sets no boundaries and experiments in various electronic styles such as ambient, DNB, deep techno and IDM.

In 2019, he launched his own series of podcasts entitled "Cryptic vibes" , in which he sets up live shows and streams them on Facebook and Youtube. Like a DJ, the music he uses is a cocktail of techno, dub techno, tech house, deep techno

Protuberance - Melotonin Podcast #7

Trentemøller started music in the late 1990s with different indie rock projects. In 2006, Trentemøller released his debut album The Last Resort. Trentemøller's later music has been described as synthwave and pop. His early tracks (especially The Last Resort) show influences drawing from early downtempo and trip hop, minimal, glitch, and darkwave with an often cinematic feel. He cited amongst his influences Siouxsie and the Banshees, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Joy Division, and Depeche Mode. His music has also been used by film directors, including Oliver Stone (Savages), Pedro Almodóvar (The Skin I Live In), and Jacques Audiard (Rust and Bone).

Inspired by the Techno sound of Frankfurt in the early 90s (Harthouse, Eye Q etc.) and the many good parties, Reitzklang started djing Techno and Trance in 1994.
Later, he focused on Psychedelic Trance. For the last 20 years, he has concentrated on Techno, Progressive House and Dub Techno. And finally, he started producing himself Dub Techno and Hypnotic Techno 2 years ago.
