Djonii, the new alias of Portuguese artist João Duarte, debuts on Voodoo & Prayers with two deeply personal tracks. Made during a time of mental unrest and emotional overwhelm, Kamalkan is the sound of someone working through it — not with words, but with rhythm.

A made-up word. But with meaning.
Kama = Desire. Alkan = Protection.
This track lives in the tension between those two forces — the things we chase, and the shields we build to protect ourselves from them.
Organic percussion. Tribal textures. Slow-burning emotional energy.

Track 2: Ceeham
No defined meaning. No language. Just movement.
Ceeham is about release — pure groove that speaks without speaking.
It invites you into your body, into the now.

Bio:
Tom was born on October 24, 1979 in Sonneberg. At the age of 16 he discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Karotte and many other artists.He also had a big interest in spinning records.

Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He convinced lots of parties with his ingenious DJ Skills and also wants to convince you.

Welcome to the 310th Chapter of the Deep Electronics serie. A weekly released serie that brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This week a release by Kaan Elitok. Deep in his archive he found this set from a private party held on the 6th of december 2018. He was suprised that it even was recordered. 
Enjoy the recording. It contains a diversity of tracks from dub to techno and in between.

About:
Born and raised in Bursa/Turkey; Kaan Elitok, started his music journey as a radio DJ at his high school period. After he started experimenting with music producing following these years, his sound grew up with him and he brought his first single "Echoes" on Sound Vessel Records in 2016. Following it with the single "Philophobia" on Mole Music in 2017; he is continuously delivering more and more since then. In the mood of emotional, deep and organic sounds of house and techno, he applies the techniques of music making to his flavorous DJ sets.
