About:

This vinyl-only mix comes from Julius, a devoted dubtechno head with a strong love for the craft. 
Recorded at home using a Xone 92 and a pair of Technics SL1210MK2s, the set flows through deep selections from releases like ALT001, BERGAMON15, WRSR1, ECHOLTD010, and more—warm, textured, and true to the genre's roots.

Julius has been collecting records for years, digging mostly online, and channeling that passion into carefully woven vinyl sets.

Me and Jeroen from Deep Electronics first connected online eight years ago and met in person by coincidence at De Weide Festival in Alkmaar last year.
Looking forward to crossing paths again at this year's edition.

About Miroir:

Miroir, aka David P, is a French DJ based in Saint Nazaire, on the west coast of France.
According to David, it all started in 1992 with the discovery of the world of raves and acid house parties and the appearance of the first vinyl record stores, where he spent a large part of his time looking for new releases. His first purchases were from labels like Axis Synewave and djax-up Beats. Then, collectives of DJs based in Nantes regularly invited him to launch their techno
evenings, where he played progressive and hypnotic mixes. He was known back then as Dj Dav,and today, it's through Miroir, French for Mirror, that he wishes to share his thoughts and his Deep Dub and Techno influences. For over 20 years Martin Jarl was something of an anomaly in my record collection. At the turn of the century, I was largely buying records on the likes of Deepchord, Salz, Nurture, Bluetrain & Minus THX. I'd also been following the emergence of some labels pushing the more minimal sound for a couple of years, the likes of Out to Lunch, Playhouse & Raum...musik. After the closure of Atlas in Soho I habitually shopped in Smallfish; and I remember adding Martin's Weetabix EP to the listening pile. Upon hearing it I immediately bought two copies, and for the next two decades considered it one of my 'desert island discs'. 

By 2024 both copies were hammered and full of surface noise, and what started out as a tentative ask for some wav files, turned into an opportunity to re-release a track from one of my favourite records. Frankly I could've gone for any of the four tracks. Whether Martin knew to what extent or not; including a remaster of the title track in last year's V/A compilation was a really special moment in lempuyang's journey. Naturally I also asked him if he'd be up for recording a mix for the series. Martin is anything but prolific, and good things truly come to those who wait.

Earthen Sea is New York based musician Jacob Long. Since 2006, Long has released music on a variety of formats on a number of labels including Lovers Rock, Imminent Frequencies, and Other People. The music has been noted for its swirling low end, pulsing melodies and propulsive barely-there rhythms and his work has also been described as  having a knack for texture that creates a disorienting, lost-in-your head sensation that allows it to work as both trippy ambience or immersive dance music.
