Bio: Segue is Jordan Sauer from Vancouver, Canada. He enjoys producing electronic music on his computer, everything from ambient and drone to dub and folk. With a keen attention to the sounds chosen in each composition, the music is built up of layers of tones and textures using recordings of acoustic instruments and everyday events. He has released several solo albums and collaborated with a variety of artists, some of which are available on record labels. Bio:
Segue is Jordan Sauer from Vancouver, Canada. With a background in classical violin and guitar he now enjoys producing electronic music on his computer. Drawing from a diverse range of influences, the music he creates ranges from ambient and drone to dub and folk. With a keen attention to detail and sound palette in each composition, the music is built up of layers of sound from primarily acoustic sources and field recordings. He has released several solo albums and collaborations which are available on a variety of record labels, including Silent Season, Under the Spire, Databloem, Tokyo Droning, U-Cover.

Fascinated with the art and craft of the dj, Pool started exploring and collecting electronic music in various genres a few years ago.  During her journey into the world of digital music she quickly developed a good mixing technique and a refined music selection.

For the 5th instalment of the Frontier series we are excited to welcome Vuo Records boss Tm Shuffle to the series. Hailing from Finland, Tm Shuffle, aka Jukka Hänninen has been Dj’ing since 1991, and producing music since ’98.  Dedicating himself to the deep end of the House and Techno spectrum.

  For his Frontier mix he has presented his usual style of super deep, atmospheric and often emotive and trippy Dub Techno - Which is exactly what we wanted. This style is reflected in both his DJ sets and his productions. Having released on some of the worlds most respected labels including the likes of Stardub, Mouche, Outlaw, Ranges, Kontakt, What Robot Says, spclnch and Ohm Series. 

  This mix includes some new tracks , some old ones and some unreleased material. We'd like to thank Jukka for his contribution to the series , we're honoured to be able to host such talent.

About Miroir:

Miroir, aka David P, is a French DJ based in Saint Nazaire, on the west coast of France.
According to David, it all started in 1992 with the discovery of the world of raves and acid house parties and the appearance of the first vinyl record stores, where he spent a large part of his time looking for new releases. His first purchases were from labels like Axis Synewave and djax-up Beats. Then, collectives of DJs based in Nantes regularly invited him to launch their techno
evenings, where he played progressive and hypnotic mixes. He was known back then as Dj Dav,and today, it's through Miroir, French for Mirror, that he wishes to share his thoughts and his Deep Dub and Techno influences. The Open Circle is a Belgian producer with releases on labels such as  Greyscale, MixCult, Lempuyang, OHM Series, Crystal MUD, Insectorama , Crossfade Sounds, ODrex Music, Moonglade Sound, ECOUL SND. Sometimes songs were also released on vinyl. The Style can be described as Dub Techno with a personal touch. The production is mostly done using the Modular synthesizer and some Hardware synthesizer. More songs will be released in the future on some respected labels.

In addition, podcasts are recorded from time to time. The songs are chosen very carefully with the aim of being as original as possible.

Dub Echoes - Aaja channel 2 - 07 07 25

Mostra and Deep Breakfast Series are collaborating for a second year to bring you home some of the sounds that echoed through the festival’s unique spaces. Mostra is an intimate, independent festival dedicated to forward-thinking and experimental electronic music, taking place over four days in Barcelona.

Among the featured performances was nigul, the ambient drone project of Jaume Muntsant (also known as Droneghost). Active since 2004, nigul explores themes of darkness and fear through dense sonic textures, field recordings, and evolving soundscapes. His hybrid set unfolded on the second day of performances at Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació.
