October's mix seems to have just emerged with some kind of focus on form. To my ear, the tracks in here all have a bit of structure to them, something slightly angular. There is a geometry to these grooves, they feel like a sturdy frame against which a fabric of texture and melody can wave and morph.

It was an honour to play at Celtic Chaos, a camp lovingly crafted and constructed with some of my closest friends. A home within home. 

Playing this set at Burning Man 2024 was a not only massive highlight of my burn but also of my life so far!  

The energy, the people, the pyro and the magic of the playa made this experience something I'll never forget. 

I hope this mix brings you a taste of that special chaos and love we experienced under the desert sky. Enjoy the journey!

Here’s his description of the image ’Tangled’

“As a kid, I had only a negative perception of the word, ’Tangled’. Shoelaces, fishing lines, phone cords were all things which constantly needed de-tangling. As an adult, I love being tangled, tangled with my family, friends, the local community and in life in general. I only hope that as I grow old, I get more and more tangled."

His description ties in nicely with the emotional and immersive vibe that progressives house can create. This mix aims to capture the same vibe and spirit with layers of melodies and interwoven rhythms and a deep emotional flow. Each track 'tangled' with the next, hopefully pulling you deeper into the sound as it does with me. Just like life, it’s not meant to be linear, it’s meant to wrap around you. Here’s to getting more tangled in music, moments and meaning x Nomad_T.
