In Sanskrit there is some nineteen additional meanings to the word OM and symbol ॐ. These include "Rakṣaṇa" or "OM as the protector", that which protects those who chant "OM". "Gati" means eternally moving, unstoppable motion. "Prīti" is "bliss or favourable disposition", with the OM as "possessor of bliss or Anand" - he or she who is "favourably disposed towards everybody".

Music of the Spheres, also known as Musica Universalis (Universal Music), or Harmony of the Spheres, is an ancient philosophical concept that regards proportions in the movements of celestial bodies as a form of music. 

Purportedly, the harmonic structure of music was discovered by Pythagoras about the fifth century BC. When he found that harmonic music is expressed in exact numerical ratios of whole numbers, he concluded that music was the ordering principle of the universe.
