Kicking off a brand-new artist-focused series, Déepalma Records proudly presents the first edition of its Déepalma Spotlight series — shining a light on the label’s longtime collaborators and creative forces who’ve helped shape its sound and story. First up is none other than Mika Olson, a name synonymous with the imprint’s signature blend of soul, groove, and sun-drenched sophistication.

Déepalma Spotlight: Mika Olson gathers 13 essential cuts from the German-born, Spain-based producer — 12 originals and a standout remix of “Carry On” by Rosario Galati and Yves Murasca — tracing his evolution from early deep grooves to modern, floor-focused precision. The compilation includes underground favourites like What I Need and Tomorrow, alongside a curated selection of tracks that capture Mika’s distinct musical fingerprint: a seamless fusion of classic deep house warmth and contemporary production flair.

Having first joined the Déepalma family back in 2014 with his debut Now & Here, Mika has since become one of the label’s most trusted contributors. Influenced by the electronic sounds of the ’80s and ’90s, his inventive productions and dynamic DJ sets have made him a fixture on the European dance circuit, continuously bridging timeless house energy with modern emotion.

Born in Germany and now based in Saigon, Vietnam, Mika Olson is one of Europe’s constantly growing members of the blooming dance scene in recent years. Following his ‘Suburra’ release in late 2022, Mika returns to Déepalma with another impressive offering in his latest single.

‘Tomorrow’ is an instantly engaging club cut led by soulful male vocals and driving grooves. One day off from their tour and seminar for Dance fair Ibiza, 25 degrees Celcius and a rented car, Gabriel & Castellon went cruising on the white Island. Later that day they parked at a deserted parking lot, set foot to apparently see a big lonely rock namely Es Vedra. The guys were overwhelmed by its serenity and magical powerful atmosphere so that they tried to capture that swift moment on their portable studio the minute they returned to their hotel. The result is a beautiful piece of music carried by a cool bassline and a great vocal. The package is fulfilled with a high-class remix by renowned producer Touch & Go from the UK. Enjoy!

Polish duo Loui & Scibi join up with vocalist Fourfeet for a sultry single featuring remixes from Lou Van and Deeplomatik.

Across Deepalma Records' three-year lifespan Loui & Scibi have become regulars on Yves Murasca's label. The duo first began collaborating in 2009 and has since crafted a distinct blend of vocal led house, working with the voices of Beth Aggett and Nuwella Love, not to mention being tapped to remix tracks on Milk & Sugar Recordings, Purple Music and Bobbin Head to name a few. Meanwhile, Fourfeet is best known for his work with Chuck Love and OM Recordings.

The duo's original mix begins with tranquil notes and echoing moans before an infectious hook joins energetic arpeggios and Fourfeet's recognizable vocals. Lou Van's remix exhibits a slightly softer production style whilst heady bells operate throughout, whereas Deeplomatik's version is more tough and robust in comparison.
