He received immediate support from Greg Wilson, Psychemagik, Ursula 1000, Junior Sanchez, Goldroom and hundreds more.

Today, LUXXURY makes his Deep&Disco debut with the "Hold On / Take It Slow EP" featuring a pair of tracks heavily steeped in classic West Coast sunshine and vintage disco vibes. For the digital release D&D has collected a pair of remixes by Crackazat and JKriv that take the tunes off the beach and onto the dance floor!

After smashing the Hype Machine charts last year with his remix of ‘Naughty Boy's – La La La’  alongside Tobtok, Oliver puts his magical touch to Chromeo’s 2010 classic hit ‘Night by Night’. Oliver adds a new twist to this gem with his unique nuDisco beat and classic electric synths that we all love to hear! 

Talking about why Oliver chose ‘Chromoe Night by Night’, Oliver replies:

“I love Chromeo, they have given me so much inspiration and I love their sound to death. I have always wanted to work with David Macklovitch's voice and ‘Night by Night’ is my favourite of the bunch, I wanted to give it a little O.N. touch!”

Oliver has had an amazing start to 2014 with three official huge remixes to come. In the next few weeks we will be announcing some huge gigs so you can catch him DJ'ing live.
2014 is sure to be the year of the Nelson.

The new songs are heavily steeped in classic West Coast sunshine and vintage disco vibes. Along with keyboardist/collaborator Billy Caruso (Laco$te, Corridor) the new Luxxury sound doubles down on '78 California: all shimmering Rhodes, dusty anti-EDM disco beats and funky bass lines peppered with blue eyed falsetto vocals provided by Robin himself.

Satin Jackets’ gorgeous electronic pop song ‘Feel Good’ gets a single release, backed by remixes from the likes of  Cavego, Keljet and In Limbo.

‘Feel Good’ is a reimagination of the duo’s hit track ‘You Make Me Feel Good’ and features LA four-piece Scavenger Hunt on vocals. It retains all of the gloriously bowled over sentiment of the original but with some of the extra polish Satin Jackets have picked up since that track was originally released. Jill Lamoureux (Scavenger Hunt) says of their new vocal contribution: “We instantly connected with ‘Feel Good’ and wanted to breathe new life into this brilliant track, by giving it a voice, a narrative. ‘Feel Good’ feels like jumping into a cool pool on a hot summer day - refreshing, exhilarating and sexy.” 

Delivering the first remix is Norwegian Cavego (aka Even Gillebo). Seen as a champion of the nu disco sound, he has conjured up a glossier, more funky version of an already smooth disco gem. At the forefront of Dutch indie dance is Keljet. Their remix adds an extra layer of sparkle for optimum dancefloor effectiveness. Finally, In Limbo slows things down by creating an appropriately mysterious and enchanting remix.

‘Feel Good’ is taken from the much-lauded Satin Jackets debut album ‘Panorama Pacifico’. In their 8/10 review, Mixmag perfectly described it as “a collection of love songs perfect for the dancefloor, lounging around the poolside, or both”.
