My Essentials Spécial Vol.01

In the years 1994-1998, the only way to listen to good electronic music was to go rave party or listen to good radio shows late at night.
And that's when the Fairway label decided to release compilations and mix to popularize the electronic music.
The series of "Rave Master Mix" was one of those. Other series more Trance or Techno also emerged.

But it is those of real House Music that marked me the most.

In 1995, under the label Javelin Ltd (Sub of Fairway Rec.), released a two-part compilation mixed by Dj Chong and Dj Armand: "House Master Mix Vol.01".
The following year it was "House Masters" with Dj Chong and this time Chez Damier.

Four sets really excellent but it is those of Dj Chong who put me a monumental slap.
It's exactly that style of electronic music that I loved: House, Deephouse, Jazzy.
A discovery of Moodyman / Kenny Dixon, Ron Trent, Glenn Underground, Kenlou, Romanthony, Chez Damier, ....

Here is my reinterpretation of Dj Chong's two sets with the best of his selection, often mixed identically.
Come may say that I did not invent anything on this set but, really, it's a true tribute to David Chong and even more to House Music, the real one.

I sincerely hope that you will like, these titles constitute for me the essence of "My essentials".
These are the first stones that founded Arno.G and the Only For Those Who Know What Is Real House Music serie.

Two.in.Deep is a long-distance collaboration between me and French DJ, @deeparnog, which we started in 2020, during lockdown, born out of a mutual appreciation for each other’s love of deep house music. This is our fifth volume, our annual back2back session and I'm delighted to share it with you, just in time for Christmas.

This year, we play four tracks each, twice ... I begin and Arno completes the mix.  We hope you enjoy our selection.

Hello DeepHouse Lovers, I'm a french Dj. Born in France in 1974, i was very early on interested in electronic music. With more than 30 years of DJing experience, I prefers to mix for friends or private parties. I'm a studio DJ who try to mastered the art of beat mixing, music selection and arranging tracks to compile captivating mixes. I really like long transition and trying to do the best mixing.
I love House Music and focuses on deeper genres. With my DeepHouse sets I try to take the listener on a great spiritual journey with long transitions, deep vibes and downtempo beats and, I hope, a fine selection.
